Bud's Boys What's Up 5-6-2024 Results from Thursday, April review, Doc's final pics from across the pond, and some sports blurbs from our own on location reporters. Billie Jo happens to be one of them so have 'Patience'. Thursday May 2 Our last game of the week was on Medalist Thursday, and it brought out some excellent and interesting scoring. Scott and Allen put in strong bids for the Medal with a pair of +5's. Butch and Brandon were close with +3's, but we need to take a closer at Brandon's scorecard. Brandon's +3 total was due mostly to his personal best 17 points on the Front 9. The way he reached that number is the interesting part. We have several archivists scouring old scorecards but have found no one who has achieved 17 points on the Front, until now, without posting a single par. As unlikely as it seems, Brandon accumulated his 17 points via 5 bogeys and 4 well-earned birdies on 1,4,6, and 7. Only in BB's world do you find such accompl...

Results From Tues April 30 The last day of April was a challenge to the 12 BB's participating Tuesday. Only Butch saw his hcp number rise. Yes, that means he was today's Medalist at +2. Unfortunately, his team let him down as they were the only team not to win an event. But Butch was still the Medalist. Rick wins the CTP, Dean scores 18 points on Front to lead his team to victory in that event. His birdie on 9 wins the Random Skin. And Butch is still the Medalist. Weds May 1 Raymond brushes off an April slump and starts May with a 31-point Medalist best +7. Great backup from Rodney (+5) allows them to sweep the FBT. Clint wins the CTP to give his team a victory. Butch, who was yesterday's Medalist, turns a full house on his last card to win the Card Game. A great move by yesterday's Medalist. Bud's Boys Weekend Update A short week of only 3 days of play, but still, plenty of golf to talk about as we have only 1 playing day of April left. Bud's Boys April 16 through 19 Report Congrats to our newest KCC board member Raymond aka Randy Balsman. Sad that Bill had to step down, but pleased Raymond will fill his golf shoes and continue to give BB's a presence on the future of the club.
