Bud's Boys Mid July Update Rain Rain Rain You never know what might wash up. We were not able to finish Wednesday and Thursday due to lightning in the area and Friday was a washout well before our scheduled tee times. That left only Tuesday for a completed round. Just six birdies on the day with only Clint's birdie on #8 being a scratch off in the Bingo game. Dave was Medalist with a solid +5, unfortunately no reward for the fine performance. Scores definitely on the low side as Allen, Roger, and Dean win the Back 9 with a -2. Tom, Randy, Glen, and Jeff do shoot a +2.5 on the Front 9 for a winner and surprisingly take the Total with a -2. Tom adds the CTP to give the team 3 of the 5 events. Ron's birdie on #16 earns the Random Skin for his group. Happy 250th USA! Leave it to Leroy to do it the right way. Another excellent presentation on his front lawn. The week leading up to our big 250 celebration was a hot one, with 'feels like' temps well over 100 degrees every day. The following 8 tough guys managed to withstand the harsh conditions all four days. Roger, Glen, Tom, Bill F., Don, Clint, Ron and Butch. Hope you spent the weekend recharging your batteries. Bingo also started on Tuesday with a flurry of birdies on day 1, with more added the next 3 days. More on that later. We are officially halfway through the year as Tuesday was the last day of June, so I can give a quick month review now. Thirteen days of play with 33 different players participating, completing 218 rounds (17 per day). Randy 4, Don 2, and Clint 2 were multiple CTP winners. Raymond, Don, and Roger had 2 Medals each.
