Sunday July 5
Happy 250th USA!
Leave it to Leroy to do it the right way. Another excellent presentation on his front lawn.
Bingo also started on Tuesday with a flurry of birdies on day 1, with more added the next 3 days. More on that later.
We are officially halfway through the year as Tuesday was the last day of June, so I can give a quick month review now.
Thirteen days of play with 33 different players participating, completing 218 rounds (17 per day).
Randy 4, Don 2, and Clint 2 were multiple CTP winners.
Raymond, Don, and Roger had 2 Medals each.
Glen blew away the field moneywise with big wins on the last 2 days, with Randy, Bill H and Floyd well behind.
Tuesday June 30
Big crowd for our last June competition. Shelly, Westy, and Glen take home the year's largest payday, splitting $84. Shelly's +8 and Westy's +6 win two events, Westy takes the CTP and Shelly's birdie on #4 wins the Skin.
Wednesday July 1
The second half of our season officially starts with 18 ready to beat the heat. It seems the heat won the Back 9 as the group shot +26 on the Front 9 but fell off to -11 after the turn.
A record 6 players tied for Medalist honors with +5. Wayne, Tom, Raymond, Brian, Butch, and Jeff will take turns wearing today's prize.
Jeff takes his turn wearing the Medal.
Another 4-event winner as Tom's CTP adds on to the team's FBT sweep.
Butch manages a King high straight to upset the other teams that had more cards.
Thursday July 2
Fabulous day of scoring as the group finished +33. Not a single player dropped their number, but half the field added 1 point, led by Ron's Medal winning +7. Glen's +6 and Floyd's +5 gave it a good run but come up just short. Glen did card 5 birdies on the day and Tom managed 4.
On his 39th try, Allen wins his first CTP of 2026.
Friday July 3
Twelve BB's had enough gas in the tank for Friday Rabbit Chase.
Allen is the Day's Medalist at +6, Bill F. sticks the CTP.
Don, Bill H, and Roger claim 3 events, including the Rabbit.
Birdie Bingo Nearly Over?
The Deuces took the 4 days to clear out all but 4 holes. Their birdie barrage left only 2, 6, 10, and 14.
The Zeroes still need half the course and the Quints nearly so as they need 8 more.
