 The water was high enough to wash out Thursday and Friday play, but Tuesday and Wednesday provided plenty of BB's and some mighty fine golfing. Rick had the best score of the two days with a +8 on Tuesday. Leroy and Bill F double jumped along with Rick with +6's that day. Raymond, Wayne, Glen, and Wilhelm tied for Wednesday Medalist with their +6's advancing their handicaps by 2 as well. Tuesday saw Charlie win his first Bud's Boys CTP. Teammate Tom's birdie on 4 wins the Skin. They add the Back 9 to their win column to take 3 of Tuesday's events. Fadler, Floyd, and Butch take the Front 9 and the Total. Twenty BB's participated. Wednesday saw us jump up to 22 golfers, of which the 4 previously mentioned BB's tied for Medalist. Don wins his 2nd CTP to prevent the juggernaut team of Rodney, Wayne, Raymond, and Norris from sweeping the 5 events. Bud's Boys May Review The month of May is now in our rear-view mirror as I write this on June 1st. A total of 35 different players participated in the 14 days we were able to access the course and complete 217 rounds of competitive golf. That's an average of 15 plus BB's per day with a high of 23 on two occasions. Here are some highlights of those 14 days. Scott had the highest score with a +10 on the 7th. KZ notched a +9 on the 13th while Floyd and Roger reached +7 on the 23rd and Doc also +7 on the 27th. Randy had the high one-day point total with 37 on the 23rd. Doc tallied 35 on the 27th and Tom did as well on the 29th. Doc and Butch were the only multiple CTP winners, both earning 2. Doc and Ray led the Medal count with 3 apiece. In money matters, KZ accumulated $97 in his 12 rounds. Tom took in $90 in 8 rounds in his return to action. Ron collected $81 in 13 rounds.  The Week So Far We have played 3 days so far this week. Tuesday had 16 players, Weds had 14 and Thursday had 15. Scoring is up with the winning teams posting +15, +8, and +11 Totals. I will post scorecards and details this weekend. Bingo Update After a month of play, the Bingo Game could now end any day with 2 teams on the cusp of victory.   Glen takes down another hole today (#2) leaving the Greens with only #11 and #14. Blue Team scratches off #16, their first good birdie in a week. They only lack #5 and #17. It's been 2 weeks since the Red Team has tallied a needed birdie. They still need 6 holes. 

 What's Up with the Boys Winding down the month of May, we have played 11 rounds with 4 possible dates before June arrives. Friday Results We can be a quite contrary group at times. This past week being a good example. Wednesday was a scoring nightmare as the 23 players combined for a minus 41 total. Thursday was a calm day, only minus 3 total for the 16 players. Three of the 5 teams shot even or near even. Friday brought out a whole different level of play.  An 85-point difference in fact from Wednesday.  Friday's collection of ball strikers finished with a total of +44. Randy Medals with a +8 which included 4 straight birdies on the Back 9.  Roger and Floyd checked in at +7 and Butch also double jumped with his +6. Rodney and Leroy at +5 and Don and Glen at +4 earn honorable mentions. 'Bad Beat' is a Poker term that means having a great hand only to be bested by a more spectacular one.  Results from Wednesday and Thursday Big crowd for Wednesday Card Game. Randy is Medalist at +5 and with Doc, Ron, and Jeff win the Back 9 and Total. Tom, Scott, and Shelly win the Front 9 and take the Card Game with a heart flush even though they earned 2 less cards than the leading team. Butch wins his 4th CTP of the season. For the 2nd time in less than a week, he beats Jeff's 2nd place effort. He would like to pass on how guilty he feels about doing that to Jeff. Consider it done. Thursday Don H makes his first BB's appearance with a bang. He ties for Medalist honors on Medalist Thursday, wins his first CTP, and sweeps the FBT. He also moves to the top of the 'Your turn to Buy' list. Keith and Floyd also turn in +4's to claim part of Medalist money. Also noteworthy were the bounce back days for Jeff and Clint.  Review of Thursday Friday Play Thursday Medalist Day Hotly contested race for Medalist as 6 BB's finished within 1 stroke of each other. Floyd, Keith, Wilhelm, and Clint tie for first with +4's. KZ and Bill were 1 behind at +3. Allen, Keith, and Wilhelm win the Front 9 with a +3.5. Bill, KZ, and Floyd take the Back 9 and Total with scores of +7.5 and +10 respectively. Bill wins his first CTP. Friday Rabbit Day Somewhat small group of 10 gathered to chase the Rabbit.  Doc, Wilhelm, and Butch posted game high +5's to share Medalist honors. KZ, Doc, and Wayne win 4 and a half of today's 5 events. Doc claims the CTP, his 7th this year. They snare the Rabbit when Doc birdies #7 and KZ and Wayne both birdie #8. KZ's Week Maybe Scottie Scheffler was the only golfer who had a better week than our KZ.  KZ started the week with a big win at his Monday card game, and it carried over into his golf.
