 Results from Wednesday and Thursday

Big crowd for Wednesday Card Game.

Randy is Medalist at +5 and with Doc, Ron, and Jeff win the Back 9 and Total.




Tom, Scott, and Shelly win the Front 9 and take the Card Game with a heart flush even though they earned 2 less cards than the leading team.





Butch wins his 4th CTP of the season. For the 2nd time in less than a week, he beats Jeff's 2nd place effort. He would like to pass on how guilty he feels about doing that to Jeff. Consider it done.





Thursday

Don H makes his first BB's appearance with a bang. He ties for Medalist honors on Medalist Thursday, wins his first CTP, and sweeps the FBT. He also moves to the top of the 'Your turn to Buy' list.

Keith and Floyd also turn in +4's to claim part of Medalist money.

Also noteworthy were the bounce back days for Jeff and Clint. Jeff improves his score by 10 from yesterday while Clint jumps a whopping 15. Never give up.



Health Update

Doc wishes to pass along this note of his personal fight against Father Time.


We are all pulling for successful outcome. 

Bingo Update

Only 1 hole was eliminated in the 2 days played. The Blue team solves hole #9, leaving them with just #5, #16, #17.

Green still needs 5 more, Red team lacks 6 holes.

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit. Glen wins his 3rd CTP of October.
