Match Play Final is Set!

Charlie reaches the championship game with a Win over Leroy. He will face off with Jeff who ousted Wayne on Thursday. Wayne had defeated Rick on Wednesday. Good Luck to both. The winner receives the prestigious Match Play Trophy.

Tuesday August 25

Raymond rides along, biding his time until the neck brace is off.

Twenty-one BB's split up into 7 teams for Random Skin Tuesday. Leroy and Ray shared Medalist scores of +6. Ray had good backup from Ron (+5) to win the Back 9. Ron adds the CTP to give the team 2 events. The best team today, however, consisted of Rick, Allen, and KZ. They were the only team to have all 3 scores in the plus range. They win the Front 9 with an impressive +8.5 and the Total with +11.

Tom's birdie on #17 wins the Random Skin.

Wednesday August 26

The worst three words in golf used to be, "You're still out." Now it's, "Cart Path Only."

Tuesday's storm made the course quite soggy, resulting in the small number of players and the not so good scoring. KZ was the lone Bud's Boy to finish plus, a modest +1 for Medalist honors.

Shelly wins her first CTP this season and -7 actually wins the Total.

Thursday August 27

Participation was back up to 18 on Medalist Thursday. 

KZ wins the Medal for second straight day, this time for money with a +6. 

Dave wins the CTP. Tom's 39 points are just for show as his team fails to win any of the FBT.

After a 3-minute search, Butch finds his drive on #5.

Friday August 28

The last playing day of August had a head count of an even 20. Ray has his 2nd double jump of the week with another +6. His team wins the Front and Back by one stroke each and the Total by 2 in an extremely close match today. Don took the CTP and Wayne's birdie on 9 snares a loose Rabbit.

August Review

Twelve days of play that saw 32 different BB's play 191 rounds of golf, a solid 16 per day average.

As you will see later, several good rounds were recorded. However, a couple of spotty days showed -7 winning the Total and a Team that shot -7 -9 -16 won 3 events, go figure. 

August Honor Roll

Rick, Dave, and Wayne were only multiple CTP winners with 2 each.

KZ earned 3 Medal with Ray 1 behind with 2.

Dave and Randy had the best one-day individual score with +8's.

More double jumpers included Tom with +7 and Bill H, Glen, Leroy, KZ (twice), and Ray (twice).

Shooting under par were Tom (5 times with 41, 39, 39, 38, and 37 points) and Randy (3 points).
