Sunday April 19
Results from Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week after some fun with numbers.
So far, we have played every available day in April, 11 out of 11.
Last year we played 12 times in April and had played a total of 42 days at the end of that month.
This year we have already played 43 times and next week looks promising for at least 3 more.
This was a tough week of scoring with the wind not taking a break all week. The conditions resulted in only 8 instances of a player moving up with at least a +3 out of the 52 rounds of BB's golf.
Congrats to Marty and Gary - First place SEMO Srs at KCC
Wednesday April 15
Tax Day was certainly 'taxing' on most of the players in their attempt to earn cards today.
Only 2 of the 5 teams managed to secure more than 3 cards, surely the lowest number of cards earned in recent memory. In fact, Scott's card picked up on #18 was his team's only successful shot of the day. A mark of futility that he, Randy, and Marty may hold for some time.
On the bright side, Scott's card also turned out to be the CTP.
Bill H. and Keith shared Medalist honors with +5's, good enough for their team to take the Front 9 and the Total.
The threat of high winds kept the number of participants to only 7.
Everyone played the Red-White combo in an effort to speed up play.
The 4-man team picked on the 3-man team by sweeping all 5 events.
Glen wins his 11th CTP and Randy wins the Thursday Medalist competition.
Friday April 17
Wayne's CTP prevented the team of Scott, Leroy, Keith, and Bill H from a Royal Flush.
Keith's +7 and Scott's +3 lead team to runaway victories in the FBT and the Rabbit.
