Easter Sunday 4/5/2026
Hoppy Easter to all Bud's Boys and families! As I type this our 30 guests have left the house and we have mostly put things back to normal upstairs. The basement mess can wait another day.
An unusual full week of golf gives us 5 days to cover plus a review of March. Here we go.
Monday March 30
Ten BB's on the course. Floyd, Clint, and Ray sweep the FBT to emerge the big winners.
Bill F wins the CTP for his team and Reverse Rabbit to the remaining group to make everyone a winner.
Tuesday March 31
Norris cards a +6 to lead Keith and Marty to Front and Total wins and his birdie on #5 wins random skin.
Glen wins CTP.
No April fooling for Glen as he scores 37 points, a +9 effort to win 2 events, and a second straight CTP by beating out 21 other BB's.
Notable scores include Shelly's double jump +8 and Tom's 36 points.
A pair of Kings wins a not so exciting Card Game. Only 27 cards were earned by the 6 teams.
Westy returns to play after a layoff of over a year.
Thursday April 2
A most windy day keeps most BB's away from the course, but the 7 who did play scored better than could be expected. Roger's +5 is the only score in the plus range, but everyone was within at least 3 of their number.
The Big News, however, is Glen winning his 3rd consecutive CTP, something not done since he did it back in December of 2024. Floyd and Butch remain the only other BB's to attain the 'Floyd".
Bill F is the day's Medalist (+5), giving his team 2 wins.
Randy wins the CTP and Glen's birdie on #14 finally snares the Rabbit.
March Review
Fifteen days of play, 193 rounds for about a 13 player a day average. Twenty-nine different BB's participated.
Highlights include:
3/3 Butch scores +10, best of the month.
3/18 A minus 13 wins the Front9 and a minus 11 wins the Total.
3/19 Clint and Ray score +8 on Medalist Day.
3/24 Butch adds another double jump number, this time +8.
3/25 Leroy Aces #8 enroute to a +8 day.
3/26 Clint shamelessly adds another +8, his second straight on Medalist Day, thus earning the first ever BB's Jackass award. Allen also does the +8 thing.
