 Bud's Boys 2026 Season Begins

Before we get to the golf, major announcement for Thursday.

Scott's Birthday Event Thursday

Scott says there will be Buckets of beer and food tomorrow. He doesn't even care what kind of food you bring. Come out and celebrate.

Monday January 5 - Opening Day

Doc's 35-point, Medalist +7 round leads his team to victory in 3.5 of the 5 events.




Glen, reigning 2025 CTP champ, grabs the first 2026 CTP.








Tuesday January 6



Raymond makes the first 2026 double-jump with a +9 and also wins the CTP. Teammate Wayne's birdie on #12 wins the Skin. Raymond laments a missed short putt on the back that prevented team from a Royal Flush of all 5 events. Still, a nice big pay day.







Wednesday January 7

Scott has Medalist best +7 and Randy wins the CTP.

Rick proclaims that 2026 will be his year and backs it up by being a part of the big winning team today.




He reveals a third 7 on his last card to win Card Game, the 3rd event for Team Rick.



Jeff's tee shot on #6 earns a bonus card as he tapped in for birdie.

 Champion Golfer of the Year 2025 Tournament was finished in the two scheduled day under threatening conditions. Round 1 had to be completed before the start of round 2 as 5 golfers needed to finish hole 18. All worked out well although we lost a few competitors to the 'cart path only' rule. Tom jumped out to the first day lead with a 40-point performance to place him at the top with +5, one shot ahead of Rodney. Here is the top 9 going into day 2. Day 2 scoring improved dramatically on Wednesday. The top 9 players on Tuesday combined for a total of +14. Wednesday's top 9 scored +27, led by Brandon and Keith with +6's and Gary with +5.  Brandon's score, added to day 1 was enough to claim the trophy by 1 shot over Gary and 2 in front of Keith.
