Monday Golf?

I assume course will now be open on Mondays, 11:00, but I haven't heard anything official. I cannot play tomorrow so please send me results.

Sadly, word given to me is that Gordon Feeney's wife, Martha, has passed away. I know some of our group doesn't know Gordon but many of us have been acquainted for years.

Thursday Oct 30

Eight showed on a windy, chilly day.

Bill F. wins the CTP.

He ties Thursday Medalist with Butch and Tom.

Doc is back with many a picture.

Friday Oct 31

A Halloween Rabbit was claimed by Tom, Don, and Clint.

Scott wins the CTP while Roger and Brandon tie for Medalist honors on a beautiful day to be outside.

Glen's tee shot on #8 nearly found the hole.

October Review

We played 15 days in October, 28 different BB's completed 236 rounds, nearly 16 per day.

Tom earned 3 CTP's while Keith, Bill F., and Glen had 2.

Six players had 2 Medals won, but both of Tom's were on a Thursday.

Randy had the best October teammates, allowing him to cash in $116. Don followed with $91 and Scott $75.

We have 2 months left in 2025 and here is a small look at our game.

Although we have the 'cheapest' game going at KCC, we strive for a fair game with our handicap system. Here are a couple of numerical tid bits.

Thirty-two players have played at least 10 rounds and here is the breakdown.

Twenty of the 32 land in the plus/minus range of $25 (8 of those are +/- $10). So, we are not perfect but are in the ballpark of fair. Like a roll of the dice, however, odds say one thing, results another. So, we do have some outliers waiting to be corrected.

I will use 3 of our most frequent players for our 'Fun with Numbers' entry for October.

Scott has played 117 rounds ($585 investment) and taken back $583 for a net of -$2.

I have played 101 rounds ($505 investment) and cashed $507 for a net of +2. (Bragger)

Butch has played 74 rounds ($370 investment) and collected $367 for a net -3. However, he also has contributed nearly 74 quarters for his mulligans and a few more for Clint who never has a quarter, so his net is a little fuzzy.
