Champion Golfer of the Year 2025 Tournament was finished in the two scheduled day under threatening conditions. Round 1 had to be completed before the start of round 2 as 5 golfers needed to finish hole 18. All worked out well although we lost a few competitors to the 'cart path only' rule. Tom jumped out to the first day lead with a 40-point performance to place him at the top with +5, one shot ahead of Rodney. Here is the top 9 going into day 2. Day 2 scoring improved dramatically on Wednesday. The top 9 players on Tuesday combined for a total of +14. Wednesday's top 9 scored +27, led by Brandon and Keith with +6's and Gary with +5.  Brandon's score, added to day 1 was enough to claim the trophy by 1 shot over Gary and 2 in front of Keith. Here are the Top 10 finishers of the 2025 CGOTY tournament. Naturally, there were plenty more winners as there were several ways to win a prize. Here is a list of contest winners followed by the entire field box score. Brandon ...

Champion Golfer Week It appears that all it took to finally bring some rain to the area was to schedule our Champion Golfer of the Year tournament. We will see how that turns out, nothing is certain in regard to weather, or golf. A look at the brief history of our tournament after the results of the past week. Tuesday 9/16 The lack of pictures is due to Doc being in Arizona most of the week, though he sent this one worth sharing. On the course, 13 BB's competed on Random Skin Day. Ron won the CTP and was also the day's Medalist with a +4. All teams finished in the minus column as Glen, Charlie, and Butch win the Total with a Minus 3. Ray's birdie on #7 wins the Skin. Wednesday 9/17 Attendance up today with 21 BB's present. Raymond tallies 33 points, his best since his return, to tie for Medalist honors with Norris at +5. KZ wins the CTP and also turns an Aces over full house to win the Card Game, giving his team 3 events. Thursday 9/18 Scores seem to soar on Medalist D...

Bud's Boys Latest Results Tuesday Sept 9 Guess who made his first appearance since June 24? Welcome back Raymond! Twenty-one BB's teed off on Tuesday. No team won more than 1 event, meaning 5 of the 6 teams participating won money. Thanks to Roger, Ron, Ray, and Randy for sponsoring today's event. Norris led scoring with +5. Doc secured the CTP.  Glen's birdie on #17 wins the Random Skin. Weds Sept 10 Every team finished on the plus side today, quite unusual. Doble Jumpers included Bill H +8, Charlie +7, and Butch +6. Near jumpers were Wayne +5, Randy +4, and Raymond +4. Raymond does claim the CTP. For the second week in a row, 4 tens win the card game.  Today's quiz from Bill F These 4 shots onto 11 green are all putting for what score? Hint: It ain't for birdie. Thursday Sept 11 Scores mostly take a dive today.  Bill F is not part of that group; he wins today's Medal with a +7 38 points. Ron wins the Silver with a +5. Glen adds to his CTP lead.  Friday Se...

BB's September Sentinel A full moon was over Kimbeland, possibly explaining some unusual scoring for the week. Results from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday coming up but first a save the date. Floyd's Fish Fry will be Saturday October 18. Rumor has it that fish will be on the menu. Tuesday Sept 2 Our first round in September brought out 21 BB's. Hard to believe that a team could lose the Front 9 by 25 strokes, but it did. Not going to embarrass by naming names, but the box score below will reveal the minus 17 and a half performance. Doc was the day's MVP with most points and a Medalist best +5. However, his stellar play only resulted in a tie for the Total for his team. Charlie wins the CTP, rescuing a team that finished 5th out of the 6 teams competing. Steady as she goes was the motto for Allen, Scott, and Dave as their +4 won the Back 9 and +2 ties for the Total. Glen's birdie on #11 wins the Random Skin giving his team the biggest payday as they also win the F...
