BB's Flag Day Father's Day Edition

Hope you had a wonderful Flag Day Saturday and are having a great Father's Day.

Three days of golf to report on and the Bingo update in today's post.

We start off, however, with Tuesday's presentation of the May 'Golfer of the Month".

Butch, Bud's Boys official gift presenter, came through again.

Despite a limited budget, he came up with an appropriate trophy for Tom, our May GOTM. Appropriate in that there is a ball on the trophy that somewhat resembles a golf ball.

Tom is rewarded for his undefeated 8-0 record for the month of May. He would stretch his undefeated streak to 11 before being stopped on June 4th.

Tuesday 6/10

Random Skin Day hosted 20 BB's. Top performers included a 37 point +6 for Glen and a 30 point +5 for Rick. Statistical oddity of the day was that 6 players turned in the score of -4.

But the 'Big Dog' of the day was Clint who had his best round of golf since the Dodgers left Brooklyn. Well, maybe since the Cardinals stopped seriously competing. Anyway, he turned in a Medalist best +8, accumulating 35 points on the day. With Glen's +6 the team sweeps the FBT and Don's CTP gives them 4 of the 5 events for the biggest payday of the year.

Wednesday June 11

The cash was spread around on Card Day as 4 of the 5 teams got some of their money back.

Doc and Roger tied for Medalist honors with +5's, allowing their team to win the Front 9 and the Total.

Rick, Ron and Ray edge out Raymond's team on the Back 9 by a mere 1/2 point.

Raymond takes matters in his own hands, winning his 6th CTP of 2025 for his group.

Floyd turns a full house with his 10 cards to upset the 2 teams with 13 and 11 cards respectively, to win Wednesday's Card Game.

Thursday

Another near Royal Flush as Medalist Roger (+7), Allen (+6), John (+3), and Butch (+1), sweep the FBT to go along with Roger's Medal.

Charlie wins the CTP for the 5th event.

Bingo Update.

We have reached the 20th day of Bingo as the Green (#14) and Blue (#5) teams need to knock out that last hole for victory as Blue finally put #17 to bed on Thursday. Red team down to 5 holes.

Leroy's near make on #5 Thursday could have ended the chase, but we move on to day 21.
