Repeat, 9:50 for those who have already forgotten. Be ready.
Birdie Bingo is Back!
We need something to jump start our spring season. The year is already 1/3 gone. Weather looking spotty this week, so I am 'springing' this news on you. We are starting Tuesday, weather permitting.
I have chosen the 18 most active players and made 3 teams based on our handicap numbers.
Team 1: Glen 31, Rick 27, Clint 26, Ron 23, Bill 23, Floyd 14, Total 144
Team 2: Randy 30, Doc 27, Charlie 26, Butch 24, KZ 21, Leroy 16, Total 144
Team 3: Raymond 29, Wayne 29, Roger 25, Jeff 25, Scott 19, Allen 17, Total 144
Everyone will happily donate $5, payable to 'Bingo Fund' (I am the collector). Coincidentally, the opt out fee for not wanting to play is also $5. Winning team takes all the cash.
If someone not listed would like to be involved, let me know. You can state your case.
Course Management Update
Several of our red/white players have opted to move to red on #15 as has been suggested. If you haven't done so, please consider it, especially since we are starting Birdie Bingo.
Remember all tees are options, even the yellow. Make your own course to suit your comfort level.
Wednesday Scorecard
A full house of 20 players come out for card game Wednesday and Raymond's attempt for 3 consecutive CTP's. We already reported Raymond was thwarted by his own teammates, but if you have to lose, that is the best option.
Allen posts a +7 for Medalist honors and victories on the Back 9 and Total.
Butch's turn of a full house wins the Card Game for this bunch.
Thursday 4/24
This had to be the most closely contested Medalist Day on record.
Fourteen of today's 17 BB's played to within 2 stokes of their handicap number. With only 1 team left on the course, Scott and Doc were tied for leader in the clubhouse with +1's.
The last group posted their numbers and Clint, the last player recorded, wins with a +2. Down to the wire indeed.
Jeff wins his 2nd CTP of the season.
Randy (E), Doc (+1), and Ron (E) win the Front (+5) and the Total with a +1.
BINGO it is !! 👏Doc
