Attention Please! Tee Time News  

Something different every day, so please READ CAREFULLY! It will help you plan your week.

Tuesday: Work on the course (weather permitting) will mean playing Front 9 twice, always a pain to work back in at the turn.

Wednesday: I believe a large number of BB's will be playing SEMO Seniors at Cape Country Club. If you would like a quieter, smaller group, this may be the day to play.

Thursday: Ladies league will push us back to a 10:22 first group start. 

Friday: Somebody snuck into the middle of our normal tee times so our first tee time will be 9:26. I repeat, our first tee time Friday is 9:26!

Wednesday Results

We had our third Royal Flush of the season, but our first with more than 2 teams competing. In fact, there were 5 teams which led to the biggest payday of the year.

Glen, Jeff, and Butch split the $75 pot by sweeping the FBT, winning the Card Game with 2-pair, and Glen winning his 2nd straight CTP. He will make his 3rd attempt this year for his 2nd Floyd next round.


 






Friday Results

Glen does not win the CTP, but teammate Wayne does. Their team also takes the Rabbit when Wayne's birdie on 11 cancels out Leroy's allowing Randy's birdie on #12 to cage the critter.

Doc's Co-Medalist +4 leads his bunch to a FBT sweep.

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit.
