Bud's Boys Sunday Sentinel Tee Time Update: 9:50 is our first 'official' tee time each day, including Thursday. Course is closed on Friday.  Repeat, 9:50 for those who have already forgotten. Be ready. Birdie Bingo is Back! We need something to jump start our spring season. The year is already 1/3 gone. Weather looking spotty this week, so I am 'springing' this news on you. We are starting Tuesday, weather permitting. I have chosen the 18 most active players and made 3 teams based on our handicap numbers. Team 1: Glen 31, Rick 27, Clint 26, Ron 23, Bill 23, Floyd 14, Total 144 Team 2: Randy 30, Doc 27, Charlie 26, Butch 24, KZ 21, Leroy 16, Total 144 Team 3: Raymond 29, Wayne 29, Roger 25, Jeff 25, Scott 19, Allen 17, Total 144 Everyone will happily donate $5, payable to 'Bingo Fund' (I am the collector). Coincidentally, the opt out fee for not wanting to play is also $5. Winning team takes all the cash.  If someone not listed would like to be involved, let...

No Floyd for Raymond A nice iron on 18 from Raymond was not enough as 2 of his teammates put their tee shots inside 4 feet. Full details and box scores from Wednesday and Thursday play this weekend.

Raymond to go for 3 in a row (CTP's that is) on Wednesday! The Wednesday card game just got more interesting as Raymond will strive for Bud's Boys immortality. He gets another chance for a Floyd. Let's get enough players to push him back to the 5th or 6th group. Tuesday Box Score KZ follows up his +12 on Friday with a +10 today. If he can do that in September, we can get him fitted for his Champion Golfer of the Year coat.

Bud's Boys Easter Edition Hope you have some fond early memories of Easter, unlike the two lads above. I often recall a time shortly after Shelly and I were married (40+ years ago) looking outside across the street very early on an Easter morning and seeing Bob H. hiding Easter eggs for his granddaughters. Bob was Shelly's Dad's first cousin, so we knew him well. He was old school, more than once I saw him snatch up one of the girls by the arm and swat their behinds for running into the street or something like that. But he loved those girls. It became an Easter tradition for a few years for us to see how early Bob would show up to hide those eggs. Easter Riddle: What do you have when you see 10 Easter Bunnies hopping backwards? Answer after the box scores. Tee Times this Week- No golf Friday (Tournament) We are back to normal for now, 9:58 Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:22 Thursday. No golf Friday so plan accordingly. Roger is the Lucky Charm of the past week as his team sweep...

Attention Please! Tee Time News   Something different every day, so please READ CAREFULLY! It will help you plan your week. Tuesday: Work on the course (weather permitting) will mean playing Front 9 twice, always a pain to work back in at the turn. Wednesday: I believe a large number of BB's will be playing SEMO Seniors at Cape Country Club. If you would like a quieter, smaller group, this may be the day to play. Thursday: Ladies league will push us back to a 10:22 first group start.  Friday: Somebody snuck into the middle of our normal tee times so our first tee time will be 9:26. I repeat, our first tee time Friday is 9:26! Wednesday Results We had our third Royal Flush of the season, but our first with more than 2 teams competing. In fact, there were 5 teams which led to the biggest payday of the year. Glen, Jeff, and Butch split the $75 pot by sweeping the FBT, winning the Card Game with 2-pair, and Glen winning his 2nd straight CTP. He will make his 3rd attempt this ...

Tuesday April 8 This group wins 3 of today's 5 events, including Glen's 9th CTP. Raymond's birdie on 9 wins the Front 9 and the Random Skin. Numbers should be corrected after today's snafu.

BB's Wet & Wild Weekend What's Up No news is good news is what I am assuming with the group as nothing of a terrible nature has reached my ears as of now. We had a little water seep in the basement, first time in over 10 years. We lucked out again as far as the severe weather goes. No damage. So looking forward to a dry stretch of sun. We did get 2 official rounds of BB's golf in before the storms, so I have the wrap up of those. Plus, a review of the month of March with lots of numbers to confuse most of you.  We start, however, with some personal notes. Scott is heading to Memphis today for 3 days of procedure on his ear, so we will miss our rock, our most reliable member for the week. If successful, Scott will have his hearing restored closer to normal. The bad news is he will actually be able to hear the post round ranting and whining. Last week I finished my story from 1973 which included a bit about my former track coach. Couldn't believe when I opened the Sat...
