Sunday March 2

I am going to limit what I am writing today to things I can be sure to be accurate. Not going to speculate or pass along anything second hand.

I am sure the next week will be a trying time for the group. Since Friday I have heard the words dismayed, confused, bewildered, perspective, perplexity, baffled, and mystified among others. I have used many of those myself.

Many times, I have used the quote of a 100-year-old man who when asked if he could sum up his 100 years. His simple reply, "I can sum up 'Life' in three words. It.....goes.....on."

He had witnessed the highest of highs and felt the most devastating of lows, yet the next day everyone goes about their way. Life goes on. We each decide how to handle each day. I am doing this blog today staying in routine as much as possible.

BB's Update

I watched Tom clear out of the Lutheran Home Saturday on his way home. Moving around well and seemingly improving every day.

Butch is battling the flu, and I checked how he is doing, and his one-word response was, "Better." Hope to see Butch soon.

Friday Golf

Ten players for Rabbit Friday. Rodney improves 11 points from his Wednesday performance to nab today's Medal with a double-jump +6. His team wins the Back 9. John gives the team 2 more victories when his birdie on 5 is the key to winning the Rabbit. He also win's the CTP. Interestingly, John played 53 times in 2024 without ever winning the CTP. This year he does it on his 2nd attempt.

Jan-Feb Review

Played 12 times the first 2 months of 2025. By the end of February 2024, we had played 26 times.

Raymond leads in the most important net money department with +18 as he has received cash back on all 8 of his appearances. Rodney is next with +11 in only 2 days of play.

Doc is the early CTP leader with 3, Tom and Glen with 2.

Randy, KZ, and Scott each have 2 Medals.

  2. Interesting words Randy..at my grandma Addie Jane Dickman Myers funeral Man years ago one of my cousins read a poem. The poem ended with words I think of often and that I will never forget:life goes on... I know not why.i
