Super Bowl Sunday 2/9
Super Sunday Bud's Boys News
This is being written before the Chiefs go for the Professional Football version of the 'Floyd'. BB's all know how tough the third one can be. Can't wait to see the game.
Scorecards of the Week Feb 3 through 7
We did get 4 rounds this week in very challenging weather conditions as the scores seem to indicate. Here is the rundown.
Monday Feb 3
First appearance shorts this season. Might be awhile till the next.
We had 13 BB's out for a Monday Reverse Rabbit chase. Butch had the hot hand with a Medalist best +3. That was good enough for his team to take the Back 9 and the Total. Glen's +2 led his team to Front 9 victory and his 2nd CTP of the young season gives his team 2 of the 5 events. Randy's birdie chip from off the green caroms off Allen's ball and into the hole for a birdie that seals the Reverse Rabbit.
Tuesday 2/4
Rick is the only player in the plus column as he takes Medalist honors at +2. His team wins the Front 9.
Scott and Doc manage a plus score on the Back 9 to win that event and take the Total as well.
Raymond's CTP and Randy's birdie on #1 for the Random Skin gives their team 2 events despite their -12 team total.
Glen, Clint, Jeff, and Bob set the 2025 futility mark with a -22 score. Let's see if anyone can beat that in the next 10 months.
Weds 2/5
Only 7 braved the not so good weather forecast to finish the round on Wednesday.
The first Royal Flush of the season is achieved as Tom, Raymond, and Mikey sweep all 5 events.
Tom wins his 2nd CTP and his Ace high wins the card game when the opposing team turns 8 cards without a pair, straight, or flush.
Friday 2/7
The week ended with a Hokey Pokey Result. Everybody put their 5 bucks in and then they took their 5 bucks out.
Bud's Boys Health Update
Many of us knew Tom was feeling a little off the mark and tests Friday confirmed as much. He tentatively has bypass surgery scheduled this week. We are all pulling for him to return quickly to claim his usual 'more than his share' of CTP's.
Prayers for brother Tom.. Doc
