To say KZ was surprised is an understatement! 2023 POY Raymond makes the presentation. KZ's resume includes:

Money Winner

Net Money Winner

Thursday Medali$t Leader

20 game winning streak

January

Opening Day 2024 was Tuesday the 2nd. Roger wins his second straight CTP but fails to join Butch and Floyd on Wednesday the 3rd.

Shelly notches her 3rd career hole-in-one on Jan 11.

We had 19-day layoff from the 11th to the 30th, eating was all we had to do.

February

Rodney wins his first CTP of the season with this gem on #18.

Randy gets some revenge on hole #10 by holing out from 150 yards for an eagle on Feb 11.

Feb 13th was not a Friday, but it produced a memorable day nonetheless.

Known as the scorecard debacle, this story will live on for years to come in BB's lore. It deserves a little space today.

These are the 4 players involved.

Not really. Actually, here is how I displayed the box score of that day.

Seems Rick, Allen, Dean, and Butch were nearly finished with the round when one of them figured out that nobody was keeping score.

Still a classic.

Randy unsuccessfully goes for the Floyd on the 20th.

KZ wins the Card Game on the 21st with a pair of Jacks.

What's interesting about that is that his team only earned 2 cards!
Four other teams had up to 7 cards but none could top Jacks.

On the 27th, the all-time Total score was attained. Tom, KZ. and Bob reached +25 for the day. It still stands as the best ever.

On the 29th we had the first Royal Flush of the year. Randy, KZ, and Jeff sweep all 5 events.

Jeff wins $131 dollars in February, the highest 1-month total in 2024 and possibly ever.

March

March Madness produced our first ever Match Play Tournament. To play along with the NCAA tourney, we also filled out our brackets for out tournament.

Play continued into May. Stay tuned for the results.

Second Royal Flush of the year on 3/14 as Scott, KZ, and Leroy take all 5 on Medalist Day.

On the 27th, for the only time this year I believe, we fielded 7 teams. Five of the 7 managed to earn a slice of the pot.

Third Royal Flush of the season as Scott, Rodney, Roger and Mikey sweep the events on Rabbit Day (3/29).

April

With the backing of the powerful BB's Lobby, Raymond wins a seat on the KCC board in a landslide. (Careful what you wish for)

Randy, Mikey, Roger, and Jeff win the 4th Royal Flush of the season on Medali$t Day April 4.

Scott wins the 1-day Masters tournament by combining his good round with drawing Scottie Scheffler in our pool.

Tom's Floyd attempt on the 25th falls short.

May

May started with Brandon's statistical oddity. He scored 17 points on the Front 9 without recording a single par. Four birdies and 5 bogeys produced the final result.

Doc takes down Clint on May 10th to become the first ever BB's Match Play Champion! Raymond wins the bracket challenge. The 10th was the only day we could play between the 2nd and the 15th due to the incessant rain.

May ended with Doc's Ace (#6) on the 29th and another Royal Flush on the 30th. Glen, KZ, Jeff, and Bill sweep on Medali$t Day.

Mikey wears his new prize for being May's top money winner. Funny I haven't seen him wear it again.

June

Rodney models his new clothing line, 'Country Golfing'.

On 6/18 KZ's 20-game win streak ended. It started back in April.

More rain held down our rounds in June. Fun with numbers tells us, however, that the 176 rounds we did play showed some tilted results. The group played the Front 9 to the tune of +123. The Back 9 seemed to be the Mr. Hyde to the Front's Dr. Jekyll with a completely different direction result of -86.

July through December coming soon.

Saw these headcovers at Academy Sports. One for Jeff or KZ

Rodney and Dean come to mind.

Let you ponder this one.

Saw these at Sam's. I don't buy gloves enough to know if this is a great deal or not.

If we play again
