 Glen Joins Floyd and Butch

On the last round of 2024 Glen took the CTP for the 3rd consecutive round to join Floyd and Butch in the exclusive club of 3 time winners.


Congrats to Glen and now Butch can initiate him into the club and all that goes with it like secret handshake, secret password, etc.

An exciting finish to the 2024 season that ends a rather disappointing month due to the never ending rain. Only 2 rounds played in the last two and a half weeks.

I was in the process of a lengthy blog including the above story plus opening day news and some 2024 review numbers when we lost power Sunday for about 40 minutes. After the power was restored, everything was working except my computer which refused to turn on. Until I resolve my computer issues I will have to blog with my phone which is like following a foursome of beginners playing the blue tees. Slow and frustrating. 
Hope everyone survives the next few days with their sanity, myself included.

  Happy Mother's Day to everyone. I trust we are all treating the mothers in our lives like the queens they deserve to be treated. Hard to believe my own has been gone 41 years, but the 27 I lived with her are still as vivid as can be. Today might be Mother's Day, but Friday was certainly Mudder's Day. A seven-day layoff for BB's as our course was recovering from the deluge of constant rain. Though most of the course was okay, many swings today produced a spray of mud and water. The layoff combined with the conditions made plus golf a challenge. Tom's Medalist best +5 and Shelly's +3 were the only scores that moved their hcp# upward. No team finished plus in any of the FBT categories. Butch wins the CTP and Doc turns 2-pair in the Card Game to give their team 2 events today despite having the worst score of the 4 teams. New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday. Bud's Boys Look Back On 2024 January through June Remember Lunch Every Thursday until Golf Returns! Player of the Year Awarded! To say KZ was surprised is an understatement! 2023 POY Raymond makes the presentation. KZ's resume includes: Money Winner Net Money Winner Most Improved (+4) Medal Leader Thursday Medali$t Leader 20 game winning streak January   Opening Day 2024 was Tuesday the 2nd. Roger wins his second straight CTP but fails to join Butch and Floyd on Wednesday the 3rd. Shelly notches her 3rd career hole-in-one on Jan 11. We had 19-day layoff from the 11th to the 30th, eating was all we had to do. February Rodney wins his first CTP of the season with this gem on #18. Randy gets some revenge on hole #10 by holing out from 150 yards for an eagle on Feb 11. Feb 13th was not a Friday, but it produced a memorable day nonetheless.
