Bud's Boys November Review Big November review but first we will clean up the last 2 days of the month.   Tuesday 11/26 A 4 on 4 match that was pretty much split up with one team taking 3 out of 5. Glen Medals with a +6 and with help from Jeff's +3 win the Front 9 and Total. Butch cards a +5 to lead his team to victory on the Back 9. Randy's CTP gives the team a 2nd win. The tie was broken with the Random Skin being won with a par on hole #3, sad to say. Weds 11/27 Bob's +8 (Medal #14 for Bob) backed by Glen's +5 and Roger's +1 runs away with the FBT. Raymond's CTP and the team's 13 earned cards (6 of those on hole #12) which produces an Aces over Full House gives his team the other 2 events. I must share some serious scrambling I witnessed on holes 2 and 3 and 13. Brandon hooked his tee shot on #2 over the road which required him to re-tee. Bud's Boys Turkey Tales  Friendly reminders of the week. Monday play always starts at 11:00. Check in if running late. You are responsible for your own food and drink. We do have regular tee times on Friday this week along with Mon, Tues, Weds. May the weather please give us a chance. Thursday is a day to give thanks. Doc has a message for the group. "In Jackson town, at Kimbeland Downs a merry group of senior golfers can be found. 'Bud's Boys' is their name, amateur fun golf is their game. Always spreading joy and cheer, no matter the weather throughout the year. They golf for all the right reasons, no matter what the season. In summary, I admit to humbly confessing, my thankfulness for our special group and all of God's blessings." Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll DOC Well said Doc. We should be thankful for the group, so it doesn't hurt to hear one more reminder.  Don't be the guy, keep your frustrations from being uncomfortable to those around you....

Buds Boy's Weekly Review Box scores of this week's golf action and a question for the group. The question is about our mulligan fund. We have raised a tidy sum of 40+thus far. Really interesting to see some of our players true nature come out when they play a tee shot they normally wouldn't just to save a quarter. Also very neat that on a few occasions players were devastated to find their 1st tee shot right down the middle after paying a quarter for a mulligan because no one on their team could see that first drive. Anyway, the fund started in an attempt to raise money for Dusty and the crew. The question is, "Do we continue for this cause, or do we want to spend it on ourselves and just take donations as usual for the groundskeepers?" We could use it for a special golf event, food or drink, or any other idea we come up with.  Just a thought, makes no never mind to me. Monday Nov 11 Our first Monday play this fall was a lightly attended day. Eight players teed of...
