Tuesday Birthday Extravaganza

Floyd Alert!

Champion Golfer of the Year Tourney

Loads of info, and like a day on the golf course, try your best to keep up.

Tuesday Birthday Event

Rodney and Doc will be sponsoring additional events to mark their latest milestones. I have not personally received the specifics, but the rumor mill speaks of rewards for shooting Rodney's age and bonus for shooting Doc's age. We shall see.

Regardless of the actual events, you obviously do not want to miss this chance to participate.

Floyd Alert!

Another reason to show up Tuesday is to witness Tom's attempt at 3 CTP's in a row to join Floyd and Butch on the Mount Rushmore of CTP Play.
He is dialed in on #18 this month with 4 already. Can he handle the pressure?

Who will hoist the trophy this year?

Champion Golfer of the Year Tourney is here and will be held Thursday and Friday. Still waiting on some confirmations from people in regard to their participation. Very important for tee times and groupings.

Every year a random means of setting our handicaps is chosen. This year it is the average of your handicap number on the 5 Thursdays we played in August. Here are the results and your tournament number.

Please note that in an effort to accommodate as many players as possible, the tee times for Thursday and Friday will start at 9:58.

Early Line from Vegas lists the following as the favorites. Rick, Glen, Floyd, and Bob have all raised their handicap number at least 2 points from the beginning of the month showing an upward trend.

But the top favorites, the Scheffler and  Schauffle picks if you will, are Leroy and Raymond.

Leroy has seen his number go up 5 points since September 1, indicating he has found some new and effective formula.

Raymond, who was out nearly a month, has found his zone of serenity as he has played nearly flawless golf since his return with the Boys and at the recently completed Club Championship. As the returning Champion of last year's event, this places him at the top of the odds makers picks.

At the other end of the spectrum are Randy, Scott, and Clint. Their numbers have fallen like a bad day on Wall Street and they are suggested by the Vegas boys to be avoided if possible.

Wednesday

Leroy extends his winning streak thanks to Shelly's Medalist best +4. They win the Front 9 and Total.

KZ beats Bob's Flush by turning four 9's to win the Card Game. KZ, Glen, and Clint also win the Back 9.

Tom wins the CTP (again).

Butch attempts to get his second shot close to Brandon's drive on 7.

Thursday

Tom wins 2nd consecutive CTP.

Floyd takes the Medalist prize with a double jump +8, extending Leroy's win streak to 9.

Jeff's win streak ends at 9.
