Fourth of July
Tuesday July 2
July started with 14 players participating. High level of play as each team reached their points or above.
Tom was Medalist with a double-jump +7 as he shot an even par 36 points.
It helped his team edge out a win on the Front 9.
Mikey's birdie on 16 wins the Random Skin and leads his team to victories on the Back 9 and the Total. He also had the CTP until......
Glen sticks one inside a couple of feet to earn his 6th CTP of the season.
Wednesday July 3
A Royal Flush was played out on a day many BB's were up north competing in a SEMO sr. event. A small turnout of 10 were dominated by the team of Shelly, Doc, Rick, and Randy.
All four carded a plus number led by Shelly's Medalist +8. They easily sweep the FBT and the Card Game. A surprising CTP win for Doc as he is the only one of the 10 players to hit the green on 18. (On the other hand, all 10 had a par on 13. and more surprising is that the group played #14 at 1-under.)
John brought along his son Charlie, wait, that's the other famous golfer's son. This is Jett who is about to enter his teens, hard as that is to believe.
Birdie Bingo
Bud's Boys Birdie Bingo Blasted off on Tuesday.
Raymond started off as best he could with birdies on 1 and 2 for the Adams' Blue Team. Tom birdied all of the par 5's and Jeff ended the day with a birdie on 18 to give them the early lead with 6.
Paul Revere's White team ended the day with 4. Randy got 3 and 9 on the front and Mikey 16 and 18 on the back.
The Jefferson Reds got 2 from Glen, 13 and 18.
Bingo Day 2
John knocked out 14 for the Blue team to push them to 7.
Rick added 14 and 17 for the Whites while Randy took out number 10 to equal the Blues total of 7.
Doc and Roger moved the Jeffersons on up. Doc crosses out 2 and 11 while Roger takes care of #9. They now total 5.
Happy 4th y’all ! Let us all be thankful for our founding father’s wisdom .
