With sincere apologies to the estate of Ernest Lawrence Thayer, author of the famous poem, 'Casey at the Bat', I present

                           The Mighty KeeZee

The Bud's Boys gathered with numbers aplenty,

Could KeeZee add to his streak of twenty?

Cards were turned to determine the teams,

The results made him smile, KeeZee seemed pleased.

For by drawing the twosome of Clint and Scott,

He's surely assured a share of the pot.

A four point five on their opening nine,

a lead that would surely suffice,

At times perhaps, but not today,

It was bested by the team of Deano and Ice.

The Back nine was lost, time was running out,

But KeeZee's resolve was never in doubt.

For still he had three chances to win,

The Total, CTP and the Random Skin.

His Total of six was short by one, 

His CTP too far from the pin,

KeeZee was down to one last chance,

He had to earn the Random Skin.

He had two cards that would win this day,

A black two or red three was the needed play.

A red card was turned, but the number was one,

The streak of KeeZee was finally done.

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;

The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,

And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;

But there is no joy in Budville-- mighty KeeZee has struck out.

Tuesday Results

It is true that KZ's streak is officially over at 20. (Fear not, my career as a poet is also over) This will be tough to match, major Kudo's for a quite impressive run.

Mikey and Bob move up 2 with their Co-Medalist +6's.

Deano wins the CTP, Glen's birdie on 1 takes the Skin.

Wednesday Results

With many of the BB's away on SEMO Senior action, a four on four match was played at Kimbeland.

Scott (+6) easily wins the Medalist title, leading his team to the FBT sweep.

Mikey wins the CTP.
