Sunday April 7

A rather short weekend edition today. We will start with a couple of tournament updates.

Doc becomes the first finalist in our BB's Matchplay Event. He defeats KZ 5&4 and awaits the winner of Tom and Clint.

The weather is putting a cloud over my proposed Masters Tournament Thursday and Friday. As with most things we do we will adjust to the conditions. If Thursday is too 'iffy' of a day and we have a low turnout, it may become a one-day Friday event. Stay tuned.

One omission I had about our 1 quarter of the year report was the leading money winners. Scott is on pace to win nearly $1000 as he leads the pack.

Scott   $240

Jeff      $222

Randy  $200

Butch   $196

Thursday April 4

Medalist Day saw a shootout between Tom and Randy that was decided by a single stroke.

Tom shot one of the best rounds of the year by scoring 38 points. His scorecard showed only one blemish, a 3-putt bogey on 16 to go along with 3 birdies and 14 pars. His plus 9 is a lock to win on most days.

Randy comes through with a 36-point effort, and with his handicap being 3 less than Tom's, posts a +10 to take Medalist honors for the day. He also wins the CTP to lead his team to a Royal Flush, sweeping all 5 events.

Friday 4/5

Leroy shows more than just golfing skill in leading his team to victory in 4 of today's 5 events. His plus 5 ties for Medalist honors with Allen and Randy, but his ability to piece together a winning combination team roster was brilliant. With Jeff showing signs of being the weak link of his team, Leroy convinced Jeff to leave the course when Jeff had some cart trouble on hole #7. Having 'Biffed' Jeff, Leroy easily leads the team to sweep the FBT. Bill sinks a 50+ foot putt on #8 to win the Rabbit.
