John is looking for 3 players at 10:06 Sunday

Call John or contact me and I will let him know.

We recap Friday play and talk Masters Challenge with the 18 BB's participating in the event. But first, let's start with a Bud's Boys Riddle.

Bud's Boys Riddle of the Week

In a typical week, most BB's don't do it at all. Less than a handful do it once a week. Very, very rarely does a Bud's Boy do it twice in one week. But when they do you can tell by the smile on their face. If you noticed Shelly smiling it is because she did do it twice this week.

Of course, the answer is 'Win the CTP'! (And if she is smiling, I am as well)

A big turnout of 19 played on Friday. To go along with the Masters Tournament going on in Augusta, we staged a par-3 contest within our regular game today.

Roger came out victorious by playing the 5 par 3 holes in 1-over par in tough, windy conditions. Tom, Clint, and Jeff finished 1 stroke behind.

The regular game's winning numbers reflected the blustery environment with KZ, Clint, and Jeff surviving the Front at -2 and claiming the Total as well with -1.

Tom takes care of Bob and Butch by winning the CTP and also catching the Rabbit on #9 with a birdie.

Roger not only won the par 3 contest but was also today's Medalist at +5. This puts him in the early lead of our Master's Challenge.

I have posted the teams so you can follow the action this weekend. Remember, you add your score Friday with your pros scores on Sat and Sun.

Roger's +5 is considered 5 under par for our contest. As an example, if his 2 pros shoot -1 and +3 respectively on Saturday, he has a team total of -3 going into Sunday. (-5, -1, +3 = -3)

Here is the leaderboard:

Roger     -5
Jeff         -4
Mikey      -2
Scott       -1
Tom         E
Glen        E
Randy     +1
KZ           +1
Marty       +2
Brandon   +3
Butch       +3
Raymond +4
Shelly      +4
Doc          +4
Rodney    +4
Clint         +4
Leroy        +5

Congratulations if you have scrolled this far. We have one last reminder. Warmer weather is upon us so the jackets will be coming off. Rember KCC has a dress code. Billie Jo reminds us to always wear a collared shirt. Some obviously look better than others.
