First off, a salute to all veterans past and present. Sadly, with all the bull stuff going on in the world, from the just stupid to the extremely serious, I have not heard or seen much interest at all about Veterans Day. I hope I am wrong about that as I do live a rather sheltered life.

What you will miss if you do not play on Monday

1. 18 holes of golf in good company. (Remember you are responsible for your own beverages during the round!)

2. Ham and beans with cornbread post round.


3. Yuengling post round. (Numbers 2 and 3 provided by Raymond in celebration of 68th BD)



4. Trophy presentation of our 'Champion Golfer of the Year'. (Also, the aforementioned Raymond)


4. All the mockery and insults that go with the combination of 1through 3 above.

You will not lose your BB's membership card, but you will likely be put on double-secret probation if you are not in attendance Monday.

Friday Results

Eleven BB's played in some gorgeous November weather and took advantage of the excellent conditions to play some really mediocre golf.

None of the 3 teams finished with a positive score, it happens.

Jeff and Dean are co-Medalists at +3. Allen's +2 is the only other plus performance.

Keith wins the CTP.

Birdies on #8 by Dean and Leroy snare the Rabbit for their team.

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit. Glen wins his 3rd CTP of October.
