Monday 11/6



Monday's Chili Day was a success as 12 Players golfed their ball for 18 holes and then sat down to share chili and brownies provided by Doc and Cheryl. Many thanks for their generous efforts.


Although the golf wasn't as good as the chili, it was still very competitive.

Doc wins his 2nd consecutive Medal with a +5, edging Butch by 1.

Clint's +3 leads Leroy and John to victories on the Back and Total.

Butch, Roger and Randy win the Front and Randy the CTP.






Tuesday 11/7

Butch is officially Knighted as a Bud's Boy in pre-game ceremony.


For the first time since October 24, the group finished in the plus range (+23). It is possible that the rare lack of wind may have contributed to the success. A team total of +3 would have won every day the last couple of weeks but it finished last today.

It was a friendly game today as all 4 teams won an event, with Doc, Randy, and Marty winning 2 with Doc's +6 leading the way.




Scott's CTP on 18 was his team's claim to the day's payout.



Westy had the hot hand of the day finishing with a Medal best +8. His birdie on #3 won today's random skin event.





Wednesday 11/8

The wind returned to play havoc with today's scores, with the exception of 2 of our heavy hitters.

Both Tom and Glen finished with +7's in tough, breezy conditions. Glen scored a 37 point 1-under 70 with the help of 3 birdies.

Tom rode an eagle and 5 birdies to finish with 41 points.  A 4-under round of 67. His effort led Scott and Leroy to wins on the Front and Total.

Although Westy wasn't as hot as yesterday, he edged out Tom for the CTP.

Doc nearly aces 12. (He claims to have made the putt)




Raymond, Randy, and Glen win the card game with trip deuces.

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday. Any thoughts welcome, otherwise, pass the word. Thursday Jan 2 Thursday January 2nd was the official start to BB's 2025 season. Doc, Mikey, and Roger squared off against Randy, Glen, and Scott.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit. Glen wins his 3rd CTP of October.
