 July Review, Weds-Thurs Results, and

Happy Birthday Leroy!!!!!

Today (Saturday) is indeed the 75th BD of our beloved Sargent at Arms, rules arbiter, and keeper of the peace. Thanks again for his generosity on Weds. (details below) when he hosted an early BD celebration. Reach out to him today if you can or better yet, drop off his gift. Just leave the beer at the door, he will pick it up later. He has already received wishes from fellow yellow golfers.

Wednesday July 26

Leroy surprised the gang with cooly towels for everyone and post round drinks and food to celebrate his upcoming 75th on Saturday.

On the course, Doc's Medal best +7 and Tom's 38 points (eagle on 3) dominated team play as they won the Front by 9.5 points and the Total 11 points clear of their closest pursuer.

Raymond's CTP, plus team victories on the Back and in the Card Game, make his team the Money Hogs of the day.

Thursday July 27

Extreme heat kept several away, leaving 10 BB's to compete on a Rabbit Thursday.

Scott earns another Medal (+6), good for wins on the Front and Total. Teammate Roger claims CTP.

The other 2 teams split the Back and Rabbit, giving everyone today a piece of the action.

July Review

Due to weather, vacations and tournaments, we had our lowest participation in quite some time. Only 12 days were played with 27 different BB's playing 149 rounds. That's an average of 12-13 per day, low for our standards.

Tom, Glen, and Clint were only multiple winners of the CTP, 2 apiece.

Doc finds his game enough to be a 3-time Medalist.

Brandon Medals 2 of the 3 times he played this month, the only other with more than 1. This performance actually makes him the July Money Hog with 3 big wins in only 3 rounds played.

Raymond and Rick finished slightly behind in the Money chase.

On the other end of the spectrum, Clint and Leroy could use a Hug.

The year long CTP chase is a 3-man affair at the end of July. Tom, Glen, and Raymond are 1-2-3 with 11,10, and 9 respectively. Jeff and Bob are within sight at 7 each.

Defending Champion Golfer of the Year, Scott, is running away with the Medal Count. His 16 leads Tom by 6.
