Tuesday 6/20 Bingo II Over

 Bingo II - We Have a Winner



After double checking the cards, we have declared the 'Greens' champions of Bingo II. Jeff stopped his approach on 17 within inches of the cup, joining Raymond in the Bingo HOF as the 'Closers' of Bingo I and II. Jeff admits to extreme shakes as he tapped it in, bouncing the Reds and the Blues out of the competition.



A witness to the putt said it is fair to say that Jeff choked, but the putt still found the hole, ending Bingo II. Johnny Miller would be proud.




The Greens played team ball with 4 of the 5 contributing 3 to 5 holes, led by Scott with 5. Award Presentation Thursday, which also will be Tom's BD celebration.

Bingo I took 6 weeks (21 playing days) while Bingo II lasted 3 weeks and 1 day (11 playing days). Better scoring obviously by all 3 squads as the losing teams were both within 2 of completion.




Regular Play

Big group of 20 turned out to play. 

Tom wins a triple crown of sorts. Co-Medalist with Allen Marty (+5(+6), most points (38), and CTP although the CTP was the only win for his team.

A rare tie in all 3 FTB categories by 2 teams split the rest of the cash.

Shout out to Marty (+5), Jeff (+4), and Brian and Rick with +3's.

  Happy Mother's Day to everyone. I trust we are all treating the mothers in our lives like the queens they deserve to be treated. Hard to believe my own has been gone 41 years, but the 27 I lived with her are still as vivid as can be. Today might be Mother's Day, but Friday was certainly Mudder's Day. A seven-day layoff for BB's as our course was recovering from the deluge of constant rain. Though most of the course was okay, many swings today produced a spray of mud and water. St. Pat's Day Sunday 3/17

  Happy St Patrick's Day everyone. Today's edition has the final results from Thursday and Friday's rather small turnouts. But first, something new we are trying.  Many of you know today is the day the NCAA Tournament is revealed, and everyone starts filling out their brackets. Well, forget Kentucky and Kansas or Purdue or whoever! The real March Madness will take place at Kimbeland CC. Read on and fill out your bracket. The person who best predicts the outcome of all the matches will get some yet undetermined special prize, fitting the magnitude of such an event. Here are the participants and their region. In the Allen Hill Regional, Allen himself will square off with Randy. The winner will face the survivor of the Glen vs. KZ matchup. In the Andy McIntosh Regional, Doc and Jeff will meet, with the winner playing either Raymond or Leroy for the regional final. Champion Golfer of the Year Raymond had to be on his game to win, as there were several great rounds turned in over the two days of play. Let's start at the beginning as we go step by step through the stages of the tournament. Thursday, Day 1 Twenty-four Bud's Boys teed off in hopes of taking home the big trophy.
