Sunday June 18th

Happy Father's Day to all. Time to clean up the rest of this week's action.

Wednesday June 14

Jeff and Randy celebrate their 67th birthday.

Nineteen BB's joined the party, enjoying friendship, drinks, Kimbeland chips, cookies, but mostly the pasta salad made by Jeff's wife Sarah.

There was also golf played. Though no one claimed the bonus prize of $20 for birdies on 6 & 7 (67, get it?), there were 23 birdies holed on the day.

Medalist Westy (+8) joined Glen and Randy, leading the birdie barrage with 3 each. Glen's birdie on 18 was close enough to win his 2nd CTP of June.

Raymond, Doc, KZ, and Allen each contributed to their 5 birdies on the inward side, good for a winning Back +7.5 and +10 Total. They also accumulated enough cards to flush the competition (diamonds I believe) in the Card Game.

The birthday boys, along with Leroy, used all their good shots on the Front, winning with a +8.5 score. (A full 15 strokes better than their score on the back 9)

Thursday June 15

A light turnout of 12 participated in a Thursday edition of Rabbit Friday.

Medalist Bob (+6) leads Glen and Floyd to a win on the Front, and also claims the CTP, making them a double winner.

Also double-dipping were Doc, Allen, and Brandon. All 3 finished on the plus side for the day, earning Back and Total victories.

Tom's birdie on 7 holds up for the Rabbit for his team.

Bingo II Update

I know that every April when the Masters Tournament rolls around and the Champions dinner is held, Scott Hoch knows he should be there. In 1989, he just had to 2-putt to win the Masters. His first putt ran 2 feet past the hole. A 2-footer to win the Masters.

He missed, of course, and Faldo won on the next hole.

Now I know we are not talking the same level, but when yours truly missed a 3-footer on 16 Thursday, it ruined my day and probably the next.

Had that putt gone in, I'm sure most will agree that it was a certainty that with such confidence I would easily have birdied 18 and closed out the Bingo.

Alas, unless my teammates can rally next week and win, I will feel like the Scott Hoch of Bingo for the rest of my life (Or until Bingo III starts).

Glen's birdie on 9 on Wednesday was the only good birdie for the 2 days. For the first time (day 10), no team crossed out a hole. Surely, we will have a winner next week.
