Weds Thurs Fri Results & More The scoresheets for the week are at the end of the column, but we have a couple of tidbits to share first.  Butch's Party is coming up. I will start a sign-up sheet but you can call Butch at above number if you can't catch me. It would be very considerate to let us know if and how many are coming (Significant Others are invited). SEMO SR Champion Congrats to Marty for shooting a net 59 to win his Flight. Hot Weather Alert Time for us to pay attention to our bodies. HYDRATE before you play and continue during the round. Do not hesitate to call it a day if you feel the least bit uneasy. Better to play another day. Wednesday June 21 Bingo Closer Jeff hits first tee shot on Wednesday. Rodney holds court on first tee box. Card playing Wednesday had 5 3-man teams in competition. Roger's bonus birdies on 12 & 18 gives his team enough cards to win best hand. His birdie on 18 was from close enough range to also claim the CTP. His team was also

Bingo II - We Have a Winner After double checking the cards, we have declared the 'Greens' champions of Bingo II. Jeff stopped his approach on 17 within inches of the cup, joining Raymond in the Bingo HOF as the 'Closers' of Bingo I and II. Jeff admits to extreme shakes as he tapped it in, bouncing the Reds and the Blues out of the competition. A witness to the putt said it is fair to say that Jeff choked, but the putt still found the hole, ending Bingo II. Johnny Miller would be proud. The Greens played team ball with 4 of the 5 contributing 3 to 5 holes, led by Scott with 5. Award Presentation Thursday, which also will be Tom's BD celebration. Bingo I took 6 weeks (21 playing days) while Bingo II lasted 3 weeks and 1 day (11 playing days). Better scoring obviously by all 3 squads as the losing teams were both within 2 of completion. Regular Play Big group of 20 turned out to play.  Tom wins a triple crown of sorts. Co-Medalist with Allen Marty (+5(+6), most point

Happy Father's Day to all. Time to clean up the rest of this week's action. Wednesday June 14 Jeff and Randy celebrate their 67th birthday. Nineteen BB's joined the party, enjoying friendship, drinks, Kimbeland chips, cookies, but mostly the pasta salad made by Jeff's wife Sarah. There was also golf played. Though no one claimed the bonus prize of $20 for birdies on 6 & 7 (67, get it?), there were 23 birdies holed on the day. Medalist Westy (+8) joined Glen and Randy, leading the birdie barrage with 3 each. Glen's birdie on 18 was close enough to win his 2nd CTP of June. Raymond, Doc, KZ, and Allen each contributed to their 5 birdies on the inward side, good for a winning Back +7.5 and +10 Total. They also accumulated enough cards to flush the competition (diamonds I believe) in the Card Game. The birthday boys, along with Leroy, used all their good shots on the Front, winning with a +8.5 score. (A full 15 strokes better than their score on the back 9) Thursda

Greens Down to One for Bingo Save the Date 7/8 for Butch's BB's Fish Fry Randy & Jeff 67th Birthday Gig Tomorrow (6/14) Bingo Update Despite having only 3 team members present, the Greens were the only team today to cross out another square on their Bingo card. Scott holed a putt on number 7, estimated somewhere between 8 and 18 feet depending on who you talked to, to bring them within 1 of Bingo Victory. The Reds and the Blues each had 5 chances on their respective remaining holes, but whiffed when the pressure was on. Butch's Fish Fry July 8th will be the date for the get together for BB's and their significant others. All details will be presented soon.  Birthday on Wednesday Randy's (6/14) and Jeff's 67th (6/17) will be celebrated on Wacky Wednesday (6/14). No big deal, maybe a special game, maybe some drinks and food. No presents valued over $67 dollars please. Tuesday Play For the second straight round, we had a 3-way split for FBT. Butch's Medali

Friday Scores, Bingo News, Upcoming BD's We had 16 hunters show in hopes of snaring a Friday Rabbit. A request was made to take a picture of the winning team, a rather bold request since it was done before the round started.  They proved to have the golf balls to back up their boast, appropriately winning the Back 9. Floyd led team with a +4 on the day. They also amused themselves by placing their tee shots on 13 in a conveniently close proximity. Rick scored the most points (32) and claimed Medalist with +7. Teammate Westy was Medalist runner-up at +5, allowing them to win Total. Westy also wins CTP. Clint's birdie on 8 was a double winner for his group, catching the Rabbit and pushing his team to a close victory on the Front. Randy and Jeff have upcoming BD's (67th), may have something Weds or Thurs (course closed Fri) Bingo Time We have played 7 rounds since Bingo began. Here is a graph on how play has developed, how many birds each day.              5/30   5/31   6/1
