Clint tees off on Number 1 Friday, his last day as a 76-year-old. Wouldn't you know he shot his age, 76. More on Friday a little later, let's clean up other news plus action from Thursday.

Thursday May 25

It was Bud's Boys 'Lite' version for Thursday as only 11 could answer the bell. Scott earns Medalist with +6 and was 1 of 4 to hit the 30-point mark. He joined Doc and Jeff at 30 with Glen reaching 34 to go with his 3rd CTP of the month.

Jeff and Leroy both birdie 12.



Jeff's from long distance, Leroy the tap in variety after a tasty approach shot.


Speaking of tasty approach shots, I omitted A pic of Gerald's near first ever hole-in-one from Tuesday.

Friday May 26

As stated above, it was Clint's birthday eve and he treated the group to pre-round donuts though I should note I did NOT see Bill eat one. Or 2. Green Golf balls were par 3 prizes for the best shot on each hole and the usual bragging and complaining followed the round.



Happy birthday Clint, and if nothing else, it will now be a little easier to shoot your age.

Clint was 1 of the 4 players to reach a game high 31 points, and his +5 added to teammate and Medalist Bob's +6 wraps up a FBT sweep for the team.

Doc gets his first CTP for the month of May by edging Rodney out by a mere 3 inches.

Well timed birdies on 5 and 6 by Tom and Glen snares the Friday Rabbit.

  Happy Mother's Day to everyone. I trust we are all treating the mothers in our lives like the queens they deserve to be treated. Hard to believe my own has been gone 41 years, but the 27 I lived with her are still as vivid as can be. Today might be Mother's Day, but Friday was certainly Mudder's Day. A seven-day layoff for BB's as our course was recovering from the deluge of constant rain. Though most of the course was okay, many swings today produced a spray of mud and water. The layoff combined with the conditions made plus golf a challenge. Tom's Medalist best +5 and Shelly's +3 were the only scores that moved their hcp# upward. No team finished plus in any of the FBT categories. Butch wins the CTP and Doc turns 2-pair in the Card Game to give their team 2 events today despite having the worst score of the 4 teams. New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday. Bud's Boys Look Back On 2024 January through June Remember Lunch Every Thursday until Golf Returns! Player of the Year Awarded! To say KZ was surprised is an understatement! 2023 POY Raymond makes the presentation. KZ's resume includes: Money Winner Net Money Winner Most Improved (+4) Medal Leader Thursday Medali$t Leader 20 game winning streak January   Opening Day 2024 was Tuesday the 2nd. Roger wins his second straight CTP but fails to join Butch and Floyd on Wednesday the 3rd. Shelly notches her 3rd career hole-in-one on Jan 11. We had 19-day layoff from the 11th to the 30th, eating was all we had to do. February Rodney wins his first CTP of the season with this gem on #18. Randy gets some revenge on hole #10 by holing out from 150 yards for an eagle on Feb 11. Feb 13th was not a Friday, but it produced a memorable day nonetheless.
