Bud's Boys News Update

Butch has chosen this Friday to be his Birthday celebration. No details other than you must be here Friday to be a part of the fun. Gifts are optional. Leroy suggests everyone wear green to honor the large amount of money Butch has won thus far in 2023.

Floyd Alert (the person)

Jeff is spreading a rumor that Floyd will make his first appearance of 2023 tomorrow. Coincidentally, his name has risen to the top of the 'Whose turn is it to buy?' list. Let's all turn out to greet his return.

Kimbeland Board Vote

You can bring your proxy to the course and Tom will accept it instead of you mailing it in. Do not miss this chance for us to add another of our group to the board. We encourage you to ask those outside our group for theirs as well.

Tuesday Golf Report

An absolutely perfect day (best of the year) for golf brought out 18 anxious BB's fresh off a weekend of watching the Masters, with high hopes of striking the ball just like the boys in Augusta.

Randy and Doc finish 1-2 in the Medal race resulting in a FBT sweep for their squad. Glen wins CTP with a tight iron to 18, and Bob continues to move up the charts with a +4.

Putting tip from Ozzie Smith Monday night helps Doc to a +4.

A couple Gems from Leroy

A glaring omission (my apologies) from our quotes last week must be added. Last week our 'Most Interesting Man' Westy decided to do a little fishing after our 18 holes. Many of us were still enjoying a beverage on the deck as we watched Westy park on the cart path just in front of the ladies tee box on 18 to cast his line. After a couple of impressive casts to the north side of the pond, Leroy hollered to Westy, "Hey Westy, if you take your pole back a little farther, you can add some distance to your cast!"

Each team added at least 1 today, putting all at about the halfway mark.

Every team has knocked off 1,3,13, and 16. Untouched so far are 10,12,14, and 15.
