Friday Results, Week Review, and Birdie Bingo

I will start out with Birdie Bingo which most of you already know how it works. We just finished a trial run with 3 teams that just ended after about a month of play. The idea is for your team to be the first to birdie all 18 holes on the card, similar to a cover-all in Bingo. As previously stated, it took about a month with 2 teams going the last week with each team needing only 1 more birdie before one team finally completed their mission. It seemed to add some fun to each day (the general idea) and some extra camaraderie to the individual teams. I will be taking sign-ups for our next game with teams being drafted on April 1st. We will use our individual numbers posted on that day to make the teams as even as possible. Remember that you don't have to play every day, but the more you play the more you can contribute to your team. Keep that in mind before you put in your 5 bucks to enter.

Week in Review

For the first time in longer than I can remember, we played all 5 days this week. We had 20 on Monday and 14 on Tuesday in the milder weather, with 9,9, and 10 the last 3 days in the cooler temperatures. It was also a friendship kind of week as 3 days had every team winning something, unusual for our group.

5-Dollar Friday

Ten players finished the week up and once again all teams took a piece of today's prize money.

Jeff's +6 leads his team to a strong +5 on the Back for their victory.

Clint's high point total of 32 and Co-Medalist +7 was not enough to overcome the 3 worst scores of the day from his teammates, but his birdie on 9 won the Rabbit to put them on the board.

Scott's Co-Medalist +7 was enough for his team to secure Front and Total. Teammate Mikey wins his FIRST CTP OF THE YEAR to complete today's action. This is good news in that only yesterday Mikey called for the end of the CTP contest on 18, because he was tired of never winning it. So, at least for now, the CTP on 18 will continue.
