 Monday, Tuesday Results plus 'Floyd Alert'

This is the only way Doc can play 18 while he is recovering from his hand and eye surgeries.

Monday Play

At first glance, the scoring looked tough as the group of 14 finished at a -18. A closer look shows that if you eliminate the -23 of Randy, Rick, and KeyZ, the other 11 players were +5. 




Bob wins his first CTP of the season. His +3 earns him Co-Medalist with Scott, although it doesn't help either of their teams win.

Mikey's +2 leads Glen and Gary to victory on Front and Total.

John's team pulls it together enough to claim the Back 9 with the help of his 16 points.




Tuesday-Floyd Alert

Be sure to come out next playable day to protect the Floyd.

The above statement can only mean that Bob has done it again. This time he stuck it in to a nice 2 feet or so. Our first back-to-back CTP winner of 2023. All hands on deck for our next outing. Hopefully the pin will be changed to throw Bob off a little.

Bob's CTP birdie on 18 capped a special day for him that included an eagle on 13, good enough for team wins on the Back and Total.

Rick's turning of the cards gives his team best hand on a Tues. version of Wacky Weds., to go along with the winning Front total, to cut his teams losses.

  Happy St Patrick's Day everyone. Today's edition has the final results from Thursday and Friday's rather small turnouts. Mother's Day 5/12

  Happy Mother's Day to everyone. I trust we are all treating the mothers in our lives like the queens they deserve to be treated. Hard to believe my own has been gone 41 years, but the 27 I lived with her are still as vivid as can be. Today might be Mother's Day, but Friday was certainly Mudder's Day. A seven-day layoff for BB's as our course was recovering from the deluge of constant rain. Though most of the course was okay, many swings today produced a spray of mud and water. The layoff combined with the conditions made plus golf a challenge. Tom's Medalist best +5 and Shelly's +3 were the only scores that moved their hcp# upward. No team finished plus in any of the FBT categories. Butch wins the CTP and Doc turns 2-pair in the Card Game to give their team 2 events today despite having the worst score of the 4 teams. Champion Golfer of the Year Raymond had to be on his game to win, as there were several great rounds turned in over the two days of play. Let's start at the beginning as we go step by step through the stages of the tournament. Thursday, Day 1 Twenty-four Bud's Boys teed off in hopes of taking home the big trophy. The weather was 40 degrees warmer than day 1 last year. The scores reflected the great conditions as half the field finished in the plus column. Butch leads at +7, 1-up on Raymond, Clint, and Floyd.
