Tuesday Results Plus Florida Report From Jeff
As I write this, I looked out the window and the animals seemed to be pairing up. So, to help us forget about the rain for a few minutes, Heeeerrres Jeff!
Jeff wears his Bud's Boys colors in sunny Ft. Lauderdale
Let's be clear that when Jeff reports on a pair of boobs, he is not talking about the 2 of our boys who played Monday in the rain, wind, and cold. (We will not name names, but they do like to gather at the trees.) Of course, Jeff means....
He got to spend a little time recently in this establishment well known for its tasty dishes.
Apparently, he got this picture snapped just before they escorted him out. We hope to hear more from Jeff during his southern stay.
Tuesday Action
Thirteen BB's report for duty on a beautiful sunny and mild Un-January like day. And now........
Team 1
Randy 29 points -2
Raymond 28 points -3
Gary 23 points +3
Team -4 +2 -2 Zero pay out
Gary's steady play could not overcome Randy's horrid 6-hole stretch with only 4 points. Raymond played very solidly but fell victim to a handful of 3-foot lip outs.
Team 2
Scott 17 points -4
Rodney 32 points +4 (tri-Medalist)
Bob 15 points -7
Team -3 1/2 -3 1/2 -7 Zero pay out
Rodney shoots even par on front and maintains that pace until the last 3 holes. Still, great round for this early in the season. Bob kept a good scorecard while Scott drove the cart.
Team 3
Rick 31 points +1
Mikey 25 points +2
Ron 28 points -1
Team E +2 +2 Zero pay out
Consistent play from all 3 golfers earns this team 2nd place in all 3 events. Mikey returns from his leave of absence with a solid +2.
Team 4
If you paid attention to the pay outs above, you have figured out that this team made a clean sweep of today's payroll.
Tom 37 points +4 (tri-Medalist)
Glen 32 points E
KeyZ 21 points +4 (tri-Medalist)
Leroy 21 points -1 CTP
Team +2 +5 +7 Pay Out $52
Tom shoots under par (4 birdies today) for the 2nd time in his last 3 outings. Glen also has 4 birdies in his round. KeyZ nets a +4 and was in position to win his 2nd consecutive CTP when..............
Leroy, with the last tee shot of the day, stuffs one in to about 2 feet, making up for the fact that he was only one on team to finish minus. That he missed the 2-footer hardly mattered as the sweep was secure.
This Just In
Doc has just informed me that Rodney has purchased Stan's cart. This is a win-win for the group. Stan's cart stays in the family and Rodney gets a big upgrade. We can only wonder what Rodney will do with his old cart.
Good going y’all . “ Hot Rod” has a new rod to race around course . Doc
