 Thursday Results

Eleven names on the scorecards today. Butch and Roger make their first starts of the 2023 season.


Butch has a respectable 20 points, missing his number by only 1. Roger only misses by 2. 

Leroy and Randy share Medalist with +3's. Each of the 3 teams won some part of today's purse. KeyZ's first CTP of the year gives his team the biggest cut.

Fun With Numbers

Today's easiest hole was No. 1, playing to an even par total of 22 points.

Most difficult hole was a tie with only 10 points scored on each.

No. 6 played straight into the wind making club selection difficult, not to mention a ball not struck well.

No. 11 was its usual pain on the grass.

Only 4 birds today after 8 yesterday even though the pin placements were the same.

Randy gets some revenge on hole #10 by holing out from 150 yards for an eagle on Feb 11. Feb 13th was not a Friday, but it produced a memorable day nonetheless. New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit. Glen wins his 3rd CTP of October.
