As we brace for Christmas and an Arctic Blast, sit back and take your mind off such things by checking in on your fellow BB's and their Wacky-Wednesday Results.

A Baker's Dozen wrapped themselves up and teed off after the frost cleared. Scoring was up for the day as a group, but a closer look at the numbers has me shaking my head. "Oh no" some of you are saying because you know what is coming next. That's correct, it is time for..............

Fun With Numbers!

Three of our four teams finished with plus scores. ALL 9 PLAYERS GOT THEIR POINTS OR BETTER! Our last team was a foursome, and ALL 4 FINISHED MINUS! This begs the question, 'Does Misery love company'? Does 1 bad apple spoil the whole bunch? I am not a psychiatrist, nor do I play one on TV, but it's hard to believe this is just a coincidence. Is it just easier for 3 to mesh together than 4? (Lame Psychiatrist jokes to follow) 


Any comments from the group would be helpful in solving this mystery.


Rick continued his hot streak (more on this later) with a Medalist winning +6. Teammate Scott throws in a +4 to help them win the Front and tie the Total.

Another Bud's Boy on a hot streak, Roger's +5 along with plus scores from Leroy and Glen give them the Back and the other half of the total. Unfortunately for Glen, like many before him, could not get that 3rd straight CTP.

Jeff appeared to have the CTP won until a measurement showed Raymond's shot edged him out by 2 inches. Jeff did not take it well.


Jeff's luck changed after the round as his team won the poker hand, taking the last event. (Did not hear what winning hand was)

Here are Rick's last 5 scores in order: +1 +8 +4 +5 and today's +6. His hcp# has gone 24 25 26 27 to the present 28. 

Since his latest return from Denver, Roger has posted +5 +2 +5. How long can they keep it up?

Holding Steady

Since Dec 7th, Raymond and Randy's number has only moved one number.

  Happy Mother's Day to everyone. I trust we are all treating the mothers in our lives like the queens they deserve to be treated. Hard to believe my own has been gone 41 years, but the 27 I lived with her are still as vivid as can be. Today might be Mother's Day, but Friday was certainly Mudder's Day. A seven-day layoff for BB's as our course was recovering from the deluge of constant rain. Though most of the course was okay, many swings today produced a spray of mud and water. St. Pat's Day Sunday 3/17

  Happy St Patrick's Day everyone. Today's edition has the final results from Thursday and Friday's rather small turnouts. But first, something new we are trying.  Many of you know today is the day the NCAA Tournament is revealed, and everyone starts filling out their brackets. Well, forget Kentucky and Kansas or Purdue or whoever! The real March Madness will take place at Kimbeland CC. Read on and fill out your bracket. The person who best predicts the outcome of all the matches will get some yet undetermined special prize, fitting the magnitude of such an event. Here are the participants and their region. In the Allen Hill Regional, Allen himself will square off with Randy. The winner will face the survivor of the Glen vs. KZ matchup. In the Andy McIntosh Regional, Doc and Jeff will meet, with the winner playing either Raymond or Leroy for the regional final. Champion Golfer of the Year Raymond had to be on his game to win, as there were several great rounds turned in over the two days of play. Let's start at the beginning as we go step by step through the stages of the tournament. Thursday, Day 1 Twenty-four Bud's Boys teed off in hopes of taking home the big trophy.
