Raymond's Birthday Results and Thursday Action

Raymond seemed a little bummed out that 'only' 25 showed up to celebrate his big number 67. Not sure he will advertise free food and drink in advance next year. Indeed the 25 is a year high total requiring us to form an unprecedented 7 groups. Birthday Boy's choice for added fun was par-5 proxy game (closest to pin in 3 shots on par 5s) to go along with our normal play.

Nearly perfect weather provided scoring opportunities for those on their game. Scott topped all with his Medalist best +7. Close behind were Glen (+5), Bill, Jeff, Leroy, and Raymond himself at +4. Andy, playing in the last foursome, ends a long day of golf for the group with his 2nd consecutive CTP.

Food, drink and plenty of round re-hash followed, hopefully making a 'happy' birthday for the guest of honor. Thanks to Raymond for making his day special for us also. You can't say this group doesn't try to spice things up when we can.

Thursday Results

Party hangover resulted in only 13 golfers today, most who left their game somewhere else. All 4 teams finished in the minus, which at least made for a close match. Scott wins his 2nd straight Medalist honor with +3. Doc takes CTP.
