Monday Fish Fry
It looks like we have a great day planned. We think we have our bases covered on details. Here is what we all can do to make it run as smooth as possible. We understand we can tee off at 11:00. To accommodate a large group, please be ready to go well before then so we can team up and go over our plan for the day as it will be a little different than normal. Today will be a day to really work together. Enjoy the day, the company, and appreciate what we have.
Remember you must provide your own beverages before, during and after the round!
Tee Times This Week
Tuesday through Friday- 10:00 Each Day
Week in Review
With absolutely gorgeous November weather and a birthday celebration to boot, we had our biggest turnout for one week. A total of 80 players (30 individuals) teed off in the 4 days of play this week, 20 a day average. In this observer's eyes, things ran pretty well for such a large number. Unfortunately, that's a lot of golf balls to keep track of. Many of us have trouble following the final landing spot, so all help is appreciated. And let's keep the ball searching to a reasonable amount of time. Leaf rule it, just be fair to the rest of the group on your drop area.
Totally Random Trivial Thoughts, Golf and Otherwise
With winter golf upon us, I suspect we may try to try some different games depending on the number of players. Maybe some pressure ball, maybe a Shamble. Since those using GHIN won't turn in scores, we can experiment. Share your thoughts.
I'm glad that's something we Bud's Boys don't have to worry about.

Football Thoughts
I attended SEMO Homecoming last weekend. They recognized a few from the class of 72. I remember watching SEMO football in 72. I would say that SEMO players today average 30 to 40 pounds per man more than those from 72. The cheerleaders 15-20.
I watched a high school game Friday night in which a player rushed for 322 yards in addition to an 85-yard KO return only to be outdone by an opposing player who rushed for 501 yards. Like watching a video game. What has happened to the art of tackling? Old 'Get off my lawn' guy here says lack of toughness and desire. Becoming unwatchable. Not to mention professional baseball players who refuse to just put the bat on the ball.

Friday Results
A strong number of 19 ended the week. Being 5-dollar Friday, an expected high number of birdies were recorded. Mikey had a couple, Jeff, Leroy, and Roger had 3, Randy with 5. The one that mattered, however, was Roger's bird on 12 to catch the overtime Rabbit.
