Scott, Clint, and Gary agree. Sara's Chili is Number 1!

After 18 holes in 'Chili' weather, 15 BB's sat down to an excellent post-round meal of chili, crackers, PB sandwiches, and PB on celery sticks. Thanks to Jeff for providing the main course, his wife Sara's Brazilian Chili. He came up early enough to set up a table with the chili in a crock pot to stay hot while we played, and others added to the spread to make for a perfect ending to the round. Jeff's dessert was egg nog infused with something likely in the alcohol spectrum. We so appreciate the effort they put in, and thank them very, very much. I know for a fact my wife likes the chili I make at home; she requests it often. But I have never seen her go for seconds as fast as she did on Monday. Great job Sara!

The reason there aren't photos of the post round meal is because it is hard to take a picture when you have a spoon in one hand and a bowl in the other the entire time. Sorry.

On the course, play was dominated by 2 of the 5 teams. 32-point performers Doc and Andy led their team to victory on the back. Doc's CTP gives his team a 2nd piece of the prize. Doc has now won the CTP the last 3 times he has played, not consecutive group days, a sort of 'Personal Floyd'. While not near the stature of a real 'Floyd', we will give him kudos for a job well done.

The other team sharing the glory was led by Medalist Gary (+8) along with Clint (+4) and Raymond (32 pts +2). They win the Front and Total with comfortable 10-point margins.

Bud's Boy's Quick Takes

 Seems Rodney caught a cold on Wednesday and is still fighting it. He sends thanks for the anniversary wishes and we send him wishes for a quick recovery battling the cold. Speaking of Rodney, we published wrong wedding photo, apparently this could be the real one.
