Instead of Wacky Wednesday we will have a special game of Raymonds choosing. Par 5 proxy game, a round of drinks, and some food afterwards.

Raymond has floated this idea and I would be on board (just not this week). If interested in the idea post a comment or let Raymond know.

Thursday Results

Tom shoots a 1-under 71 for 37 points and a Medalist winning +6, helping his team take the front. Teammate Jeff wins CTP landing 2 inches inside Doc's effort. Sorry Doc, but they brought out the tape.



Great rounds also turned in by Leroy (+4), Mikey (+4), and Andy (+3). Tournament winner Scott, exhausted from accommodating so many media requests and TV appearances, limps in with a reverse medalist -10.

Play was slowed today for a frost delay and 2 foursomes of guests clogging the course (all 3 of our groups were on 13). This allowed extra time for the many photo submissions that follow. Higher overnight temps mean no ice tomorrow, so 5-dollar Friday will be a no delay great day for golf.

    I think it would be nice to do our own donation gift to Dusty and crew . We have a large contingent of our own . Either way however , is fine with me . Doc. Also - congrats to Jeff for being 2 mm

Mother's Day 5/12

  Happy Mother's Day to everyone. I trust we are all treating the mothers in our lives like the queens they deserve to be treated. Hard to believe my own has been gone 41 years, but the 27 I lived with her are still as vivid as can be. Today might be Mother's Day, but Friday was certainly Mudder's Day. A seven-day layoff for BB's as our course was recovering from the deluge of constant rain. Though most of the course was okay, many swings today produced a spray of mud and water. The layoff combined with the conditions made plus golf a challenge. Tom's Medalist best +5 and Shelly's +3 were the only scores that moved their hcp# upward. No team finished plus in any of the FBT categories. Butch wins the CTP and Doc turns 2-pair in the Card Game to give their team 2 events today despite having the worst score of the 4 teams. Champion Golfer of the Year Raymond had to be on his game to win, as there were several great rounds turned in over the two days of play. Let's start at the beginning as we go step by step through the stages of the tournament. Thursday, Day 1 Twenty-four Bud's Boys teed off in hopes of taking home the big trophy. The weather was 40 degrees warmer than day 1 last year. The scores reflected the great conditions as half the field finished in the plus column. Butch leads at +7, 1-up on Raymond, Clint, and Floyd.
