 Wednesday Results

Founding Fathers Norm and Allen worked some old magic on the course today, tying each other for Medalist at +5.




This led their teams to win 2 and a 1/2 of the 4 events. Westy's 3rd CTP of the year gives him and Bob a big cut of the pie as teammate Doc had to bow out at the turn with back trouble.

Medical Update: Doc will go on IL (injured list) for a few days. will endeavor to return ASP.

Tuesday Revisited

I would like to clean up a few things from Tuesday that time did not allow me to put in yesterday. First, Kudos to Roger for taking Medalist his first day back. He expects to join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays while rehabbing on the other days. Story of the day comes from, who else, Leroy. After his round Tuesday, Leroy made a request to Scott, our resident estate planner and overall problem solver. Leroy stated (loud enough for all to hear) "Scott, I want you to make sure that when my time comes to be sure two certain people are on the pall bearers list. I want Randy and Glen (Leroy's teammates today) to let me down one last time." 


Trophy update 

Rick brought the nearly completed trophy out today for everyone to see. Below, Marty tries to measure just where he will display it when he wins.



Very impressive job, Rick! Love that plaque logo matches our hats.Will make for a fun and interesting event.

Complaint Dept.

Have now received multiple complaints about lack of certain content in the blog. To assuage those with this particular need, we present Billie Jo's options for Leroy's next birthday.

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit. Glen wins his 3rd CTP of October.
