 Roger Returns! 97 Day Wait Is Over!




It was April 27 the last time Roger teed up for a competitive round with BB's. So, it was great sight to see him back in action on this mild, then hot, then wet day of golf. He could not be unhappy with his +5 scoring with only a slightly modified hcp number. He could be unhappy with the mostly crappy play of his partners, however. All in all, it was a positive step in his recovery, and the group was certainly glad to welcome him back.

Tonight was my high school class every other month get together in which I stayed a little too long. Thus, I am cutting this edition a little short but will get in all the material I intended to post tonight in tomorrow or Thursday's edition.

    Great to see Roger, Mark back wasn't able to play Tuesday but I no he is working hard on his rehab and we all support him 👍😎😊💓

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit.
