 Friday Results


Sixteen players gathered for 5-dollar Friday. Randy is Medalist with +6, teammate Glen is tops in points with 37. This is good enough to win back 9 for their team making it a break-even day for them.

Clint stands tall for his team, winning his 2nd CTP of the week. Brandon's +4 also gives them a 1/2 share of the Front.


These 3 combined for a +8, taking Total and the other 1/2 of the Front (Doc was fined for covering up his Bud's Boys hat while posing). Being Friday, they also


took the Rabbit with birdies on 4,5,6 making them the big winners on the day. Thanks to Scott for demonstrating what winners should do by buying a bucket for the group.

BUD'S BOYS DOMINATE SIKESTON SENIOR TOURNAMENT

Fox Haven CC played host to this week's SEMO Senior Golf tourney. All 8 Bud's Boys entered advisedly brought their A-games being this was the highest payout tournament of the year. The eight combined to bring in over 500 dollars in prize money. Here is the list.

May Review

We managed 14 days of play in May, down 1 from 2021. We hosted several guests this month making our total of individuals participating at 34, 186 rounds completed. About 13 a day average. No Surprise Scott appeared in all 14, keeping his streak alive. He passed Joe Dimaggio's 56 and now has 60 straight.
Also not a surprise is Dean at top of May winnings list. He only needed 6 appearances to edge out Rick, who also had a good May performance. On the reverse winning side, please consider Leroy, Butch or Clint if you feel generous with drinks.

remember to hydrate and wear light colored clothing as temperatures will be very high. Course closed Friday, so choose your days wisely.

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit.
