Tues May 10

Long time, no see everyone. Nearly a week since our last visit to Kimbeland. A lot to cover so let's get started.

Medical Updates

Rodney back on the course today.

Played 18 holes, accumulated 23 points, yet didn't hit a single good shot (in his view). Actually, he hit several good shots, he just had a little trouble on the greens like the rest of us. Held up better than me in today's heat, hopes to be back Thursday. Great to have him back.

Mark Roger News

Texted with Roger this evening, here are some of his comments.

I mentioned Rodney played today and he responded.

Great news that his recovery is off to a good start.

Announcements

Next Tuesday Only (5-17), Our Tee Times Will Start at 8:30!!

A little trouble this morning on the tee sheets left us with this option only. I truly hope this doesn't become an everyday issue.

Cart for Sale

Doc is trying to help Ron Underwood's Wife sell his golf cart.

Tuesday Play

A very large group enjoyed the driest conditions we have had lately, albeit in 90-degree weather. Consistent play in that no team was more than plus or minus 3 on either side. Raymond's Medal winning +7 and Glen's most points 32 led their team to 2 of 4 events. Andy's tee shot to a couple feet on 18 takes CTP. Good rounds turned in by Westy, Bob, Leroy and Jeff as they scored +3 or better. Double Birdie on 8 by Westy and Leroy. Cheers!

We need a little relief from a tough last week. Here is my attempt at levity.

Back in my younger days, I often heard this saying. "Whiskey on beer, you're in the clear. Beer on whiskey, mighty risky." This saying came to mind when I saw this post from Billie Jo.

If you can't read the fine print, she says nothing better than a hot dog at the turn.
Norm would like to add this. "Fireball before hot dog, not a good idea. Fireball after hot dog, you have a chance to finish the round. Thank you very much."

Tiger, Tiger, Tiger

This was sent to me, and I would like to share because I also thought this year's Masters was a little too much Tiger. Connor Moore also thought so and here is his take on the 2022 Masters.
