 Welcome Back Sunshine, and the Jackson Police!

For the first time in many a day, the golf course was engulfed in bright sunlight accompanied by very light wind. As predicted in this column just recently, the better weather led to better play, ending our streak of minus scoring. All 3 teams played both sides in plus fashion. Full disclosure, we played the front 9 twice as the back 9 was being aerated. Leroy led the onslaught, taking Medalist at +7, 


one better than Doc, 2 better than Bob. Doc does tie Raymond for most points with 30. Mikey quietly takes his 3rd CTP of the season resulting in teams 2 and 3 dividing up Scott, Jeff, and Raymond's entry fee.

Jackson Police Update

It seems Little A was trying to emulate Big A when it comes to our local constabulary. Little A's propensity for heavy foot driving caught the attention of the JPD this morning, resulting in his being pulled over at Kimbeland entrance. Who else but Leroy would be the only witness to the event?  As before, he was unable to video, so he gives us his best reenactment of Little A pleading his case.



Luckily, the cop noticed Jeff's Bud's Boys hat and immediately gave him only a warning. Good advice, always keep your BB hat close by. Never know when it will come in handy.

Let's turn it over to Big A and Little A to explain what happens if you are not more careful.

New Years News Bits- Opening Day 2025 We have coverage of the first two days of the new 2025 season along with a look back at 2024. Plenty of pictures from several different contributors of the winter storm to pass your time. Maybe we should throw in a couple bucks and make your prediction of when the next Bud's Boys round will be played. It is good to be back up and running with my new computer. The geek salesman assured me this computer will be much faster. Honestly though, I seem to type just as slow as before. Thursday Lunch Proposal How about we meet again this Thursday (11:00) if there is no golf. We had a good turnout this past week and I propose we do it again this Thursday.  Bud's Boys Count Your Blessings Issue Everyday should be a 'CYB' day but some days you realize it a little more. More on that later. Halloween is coming soon, and we have the Coors golfer haunting our course. Friday Rabbit Chase The greens were fast and furious once more and the total group score of minus 24 reflected as much. Kudos to Doc (+4) and Dean (+3) for shooting on the plus side of their handicap numbers in the tough conditions. Special shout out to Glen and Butch for breaking their streaks of minus golf with a +3 for Butch and a Medalist best +5 for Glen. Butch jarred his birdie putt on hole #9 to catch the Rabbit.
