Doc's Campaign Ready to Take Off

Doc is ready to use any means necessary to spread the news about his running for Kimbeland Board of Directors!

Actually, Josh was trying out his electric bike on the course. (Don't worry, he has approval.) He is not able to carry his clubs yet, still a work in progress. Josh being grouped with Leroy brought another thought to mind. How about a sidecar like Col. Klink and Sgt. Schultz from Hogan's Heroes?

I can just see Josh and Leroy crossing the parking lot now.

Or the fairway.

Stay tuned for updates.

Tuesday's Golf Action

Doc trying to find Dean's "sweet spot".

The group showed signs of finding its game. The 17 players combined for a +19 on the round, including 20 birdies. Jeff and Randy led with 3 each, 2 for Andy, Glen, Roger, Josh, and Dean.

Glen led in points with 34, helping his team win the front, and added the CTP on 18. This was Glen's 5th CTP in the 10 days he has played since returning from Mexico. He was 0 for 10 pre-trip, so maybe there is something in the water down there. This does concern Leroy enough for him to possibly consider some alternate rule. Still checking the by-laws.

Dean's Medalist winning +9 led teammates Doc, Josh, and Leroy to an impressive 62 point back 9, securing back and total for the team.

Where's Leroy?

Leroy has just hit his 3rd shot on 12. (Yes, he is down in front of 13 tee box.) His 2nd shot skirted the 12th green, caught the slope, trickled to the cart path and followed it all the way down to this spot. A horrible design flaw that most of us have encountered. A decent 2nd shot turns into double-bogey. Something Doc should look into when he is on the board!

New Feature: Today's Swing

A new feature starting today is a look at the individual swings of the group. I would love to hear any analysis, feedback, or comments. The purpose is strictly informational, not intended for entertainment.

Today's swing features Mikey. I forgot to ask what driver he was using today, hope to include this info in the future.

Comments

  1. I think that the giggle and hand in the pocket explains it all!
    Head stayed down well.
I believe that filming should be done later in the round after a bigger percentage of the muscles and joints are working.

  2. After viewing Mikey’s swing & consulting with my swing coach Westy we believe he needs to bring the club back farther!!!
