BB's Winter Storm Update We have chosen Wednesday (if clubhouse is open) for a lunch meeting at 11:30! Sunday Jan 25 As of 9:30 Sunday morning, looks like we dodged 'what could have been'. A few more hours to go but trying to think positive. Only one game this week, definitely surprised more didn't show up for a very playable Thursday. Scott and Randy Royal Flushed Glen and Bill H, taking all 5 events. Randy won the CTP and his +1 edged the Even scores tallied by Scott and Bill H. for the Thursday Medalist. This seems to be a good time to go back in the archives for some extra reading material. We go back to the last two days of 2021. You are now entering the Time Portal to the year 2021! December 30, 2021  Another cool, damp day in the 50's brought out 11 brave golfers on the next to last day of the year. Allen on 6 Doc on 7 Tom on 8 Bob on 18, glad no audio on this (splash followed by expletive) Teams 1 and 3 split team 2 money. Team 1 takes front 9 and CTP thank...

What's Up?   w/ Bud's Boys  Three official rounds this week added to the books, making seven for the new year. For comparison, we didn't play our 7th round last year until Feb 5th. Next week looks a little dicey, but I expect we will get in a round or two. Dress warm and get tough. Tuesday January 13 Scott's Medalist best +5 leads team to a FBT sweep. Doc contributes a +4 and a birdie on #9 to win today's skin. Raymond notches his 2nd 2026 CTP. With extra supervision detail close by, Butch avoids any water issues. Friday January 16 Clint knows his team is #1! Doc wins a second straight FBT sweep thanks to Glen's Medalist best +3. Scott prevents the Royal Flush by earning his 2nd CTP of 2026.

Monday Results Reports that one of today's players MAY have had water trouble on 18 are still being investigated. In an unrelated note, Butch would like to know the most efficient way to dry extremely wet golf shoes. Charlie, Doc, and Wayne win 3 of today's events.

BB's Weekend Update Rules Change The PGA Tour is changing some rules so we will follow suit, at least on one particular circumstance. From now on, we will play Out of Bounds as they do in SEMO Senior play. OB will continue to be a 1-stroke penalty, but no distance penalty. In plain speak, drop where your ball crossed the OB line. REMEMBER, still a 1-stroke penalty. This will save time, especially eliminating provisional drives on No. 2 when we are not sure if ball stayed in play or not. Should help most on 4 and 5, but 3 and possibly 12 as well. Much like 18, however, you always have the choice to re-tee. Our new Club Manager and Club Pro visited the group on the 13th green. Friday Results Thirteen players on Friday was not bad luck for Scott, Glen, and Butch. They came within 1 stroke on the Back 9 from completing a Royal Flush. Scott won the CTP while Glen and Butch birdied #11 to snare the Rabbit. All 3 were plus on the day, good enough to take The Front 9 and Total. Fun with N...

Glen, reigning 2025 CTP champ, grabs the first 2026 CTP. Tuesday January 6 Raymond makes the first 2026 double-jump with a +9 and also wins the CTP. Teammate Wayne's birdie on #12 wins the Skin. Raymond laments a missed short putt on the back that prevented team from a Royal Flush of all 5 events. Still, a nice big pay day. Wednesday January 7 Scott has Medalist best +7 and Randy wins the CTP. Rick proclaims that 2026 will be his year and backs it up by being a part of the big winning team today. He reveals a third 7 on his last card to win Card Game, the 3rd event for Team Rick. Jeff's tee shot o...
