Bud's Boys News Update Box scores and details of this week's action coming this weekend. I just want to pass along some notes of upcoming events. 1. Wayne is going for 3 CTP's in a row tomorrow so come out and make him work for it. 2. Wear yellow (or Kentucky Wildcat Blue) for Leroy appreciation day Friday.      Leroy celebrated a birthday this week. Pictures also coming in weekend edition. 3. Champion Golfer of the Year 2-day Tournament to be held the week of September 22nd.      Plan accordingly.

 Bud's Boys Monday Extra Extra Read All About It Regular play on Friday As most of you know if you read the club e-mail, Friday outing cancelled so regular play is back on. Scott jumped on and secured our regular 9:50 start. Just got back from vacation so the office was closed on the weekend. Here are the results from Thursday play and numbers for tomorrow (Tuesday). Thursday July 24 Ron takes first place by 4 strokes with his +5 while Ray wins the CTP.

  Wednesday Card Game Rick wins his 3rd CTP and Don earns his 2nd Medal. Aces and 7's win the Card Game.

    Tuesday Golf With heat index around 110', scoring index also jumped up. Floyd's +10 beats out teammate Rodney's +7 for Medalist. Their team easily sweeps the CTP. Roger wins his 3rd CTP. The Random skin is won with a par on #14.

  Bud's Boys Week in Review 7-15 to 7/18 Tuesday A week of miserable heat began today, and the group was not ready to cope. The total score of the 19 participants added up to a sultry -32. Allen, Norris, and Bill F won the Back 9 and Total with a +6 1/2 and a +4 respectively. Scott's Medalist best +3 led his team to victory on the Front 9 and Charlie won the CTP.  Tom's birdie on #4 wins the Random Skin. Ron was rewarded for his recent good scores with something he really needed. A 99 cent gift card to Dairy Queen. Thursday We had 4 of 6 teams finish Wednesday's play before the rains hit washing out the round. Sixteen BB's were on the course for Medalist Thursday. The dangerous heat index returned but players managed better today with a group score of +2. Dave earns his first Medal topping out at +6, 2 shots better than KZ and Charlie.  What goes up must come down as the saying goes. Last week's group effort of +51 is a distant memory after this past week's performance.  The 'market' crashed big time when play resumed on Wednesday. Tuesday was washed out before we teed off leaving the course a little sloppy for a day but softer for the week taking away our run out. The stifling, muggy heat and the slow greens was a recipe for some most uninspiring golf. The 3 days of play resulted in a group score of minus 54, a 105 point swing from last week. let's break it down day by day. Wednesday Jeff wins his 3rd Medal of the season but strikes out on today's money pool due to lack of support. Bill F wins his 2nd CTP. His and teammate John's +3's are the only 2 scores other than Jeff's to deserve a jump in handicap. It also allows them to take home the Front 9 and Total score money.
